  • Our destination wedding was held on the island of #crete #greece in #chania, which is the Western side of the island. We had a total of 30 guests from 9 different countries all over the world, so to make it special, we created a week of wedding festivities rather than only one day! We had an activity day with all of the guests where we chartered a private bus to show us some of the great attractions and hidden gems of Chania. One of our stops was at Stavros Beach where Zorba the Greek was filmed! We had some traditional Greek mezethes (tapas or appetizers), which consisted of lots of #seafood ! I don't know about you, but I could stare at this plate all day long. Great place to explore stavros.

Stayed for three nights. Staff was very friendly, easy check in. Great location next to mountain and beach. Good place for a climb to the lera cave or longer hike to katholiko bay and monasteries.
