Incredible hotel! Very modern with bright, high ceilings and a beautiful water view—we really wish we could have stayed longer. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, with an amazing variety of options. Highly recommend staying at The Tanneries Hotel & Spa!

Everything was incredible from the moment we arrived. Early check in was available, the team arranged parking for our car. Had dinner both nights at the restaurant and can’t fault the food, my chef partner loved everything on the menu. Staff were so attentive and lovely. Good location if you’re looking for somewhere slightly out of town, a little quieter. Only a 20ish minute walk into old town.

Loved The Tanneries Spa and Resort. Amazing room, jacuzzi, steam shower, complimentary sparkling wine, complimentary breakfast…so many positives that it’s hard to list them all. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is magical. The morning is peaceful and the evening lively with the hotel restaurant and another neighboring restaurant. The hotel staff are kind, friendly and very helpful. Wonderful hotel, well located in a beautiful setting by the sea, just outside the main tourist area of Chania. Modern well designed and beautiful rooms. Our stay at The Tanneries was exceptional. The property is gorgeous and modern yet fitting the historical surroundings, the rooms are also very modern and lovely with immediate proximity/ views to the water. Most importantly the staff is wonderful. On the first day of my stay I got a massage, scrub and facial with Katarina and it was excellent. Then the next day the reception staff went out of their way to help when my colleague was not feeling well. I can’t say enough about The Tanneries hotel and how they go out of their way for guests.

This property is beautiful. Modern design and great views. The staff were very friendly and our stay was pleasant. The only feedback is to maybe include some sort of privacy curtain or something so the person who is showering is closed off and the others can access their bags and the mirror. Aside from that, the room was excellent.
