"This is one of the best modern hotels we've stayed in. Interesting decor, helpful staff and good soundproofing. The rooms are a generous size: worth getting one with a sea view and a balcony. The location is good for a stroll into the centre of Menton and there are several local restaurants and cafes near the Marina."

"As you can see from the main exterior publicity photograph, the location is exquisite, in the centre of Menton, and right on the promenade, only across the road from the beach. The view from the balconette (top storey of the building, right hand window) encompasses mountains, beach, town and sea, and, south facing, gives incomparable views of the Mediterranean light, particularly at sunrise and sunset. The town is very Italianate in all sorts of ways – there are as many Italian restaurants as French, and most will agree this is about the happiest marriage of cuisines you can find – but also there is a preponderance of noisy motorbikes, which can knock some of the gloss off the location, though the shady garden offers some screening from this, with its exotic plants and trees. The apartment is really well equipped, particularly the kitchen, though the beds are a tad disappointing. The building is a historic gem, with a fine staircase and wonderful Belle-Époque lift.Cathérine and Philippe, who manage the property with their irresistible doe-eyed dog Twix, are lovely hosts and easy to contact. Catherine is eager to explain everything about Menton to you when you first arrive – though all the information is there in writing as well, in the cornucopia of filed documentation, and she didn't quite get how tired, hungry and thirsty we were!We greatly enjoyed this gorgeous spot in the far south-eastern corner of France."

"Great option in Menton. The staff were lovely and accommodating. They kindly gave me a free room upgrade and my room was thankfully ready before the 2pm check in time. Easy to walk anywhere - shops, beach and only 10’ easy walk from the station. Room was comfortable and quiet, very good shower and all immaculately clean. My only slight criticism is my key card kept failing - more than in other hotels I’d say and the two chairs on the balcony (room 307) could do with a good clean or be replaced. Otherwise highly recommended. "

"Newly renovated, and in excellent shape. We skipped breakfast so we could enjoy bakery’s on the main blvd. Pistachio croissant and coffee is living the breakfast dream. Parking on street was best and the wonderful people at the front desk will explain how to pay at the kiosk. So helpful! It’s a great bargain to stay here."

"Impeccable. Hôtel très propre, nourriture bonne et variée au restaurant matin comme soir en demi-pension, personnel très avenant et diplomate et installations complètes. L’emplacement est génial à quelques minutes de la gare et adjacent au centre de Menton. Mention toute spéciale à la réceptionniste des soirs du 16 et du 17 octobre très sympathique et qui a toujours offert un service à la clientèle irréprochable. Supervisant moi-même dans l’hospitalité à la réception elle dispose de tout les atouts. À tout cela s’ajoute la vue sur la mer; wow. Sur l’aile la plus rapprochée la vue est panoramique et j’ose dire qu’elle l’est tout autant dans l’aile principale. Un incontournable dans la région et avec grand plaisir de revenir y séjourner."
