Great place. Great location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. My only negative was that the tv was a hassle to get logged into each time that you turned it on. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Roof top was great . Noah and Kiwi took good care of the tables. Bar was fun getting to watch Milwaukee Brewers beat the LA Dodgers. Room staff were always smiling and willing to help. Location allowed us to walk everywhere. Never needed our rental car.

There is coffee/tea service every morning on each floor, along with pastries and fruit assortment. Very central location. Lovely rooms, marble bathrooms with separate shower and tub. Piano music in the lobby in the evenings. Very quick and easy check in and out service.

I stayed in room 305. No view but also very quiet. The rooms have a lot of traditional Charleston charm. The beds are comfortable. Bathroom probably could be updated but was clean and nice. Hotel has no lobby which is a little strange. Key system needs to be upgraded as ours kept getting demagnetized. Nice that the way have pastries and snacks on the hallways.

Great location. Great staff. Overpriced. The hall carpets were stained, filthy and they were old stains and several of them! The cookies and breakfast pastries were stale and not the best. The coffee was always set up after 6:30 and a couple of days it wasn't even hot, no microwave to heat it up (the hot water was luke warm. Several times we went back to our room to have the door open and no one was in there.

Second time at The Market Pavillion. The hotel is beyond gorgeous with a southern charm and nostalgic feeling. The staff are always super nice. The front desk is always happy to help! This is my place to stay when I travel to Charleston! I'll see you all soon!

We have been traveling to Charleston once or twice a year for the past 15 years. This was the first time staying at the Market pavilion. Best location in charleston, with an amazing rooftop and across the street from the Charleston market yet not noisy. Hotel might consider doing a better job with security around the pool when it comes to hotel guests and the many outsiders who frequent the roof top bar to drink and take in the views. Coffee bar and pastry fruits, located in each floor lobby is a nice touch. All in all staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, we had an inexperienced front desk employee who made things a bit more challenging then it needed to be. Everyone else from the valet to the support desk staff and concierge was very helpful. Rooms are comfortable. Beds were amazing and bathroom had everything. Overall very good stay and would recommend.

The whole overall experience was exceptional. The staff the room, the beautiful pool setting made for a lovely trip. The poolside bar and menu were also very good. The location is perfect central to many restaurants and activities. We look forward to returning for another visit.
