"We needed a hotel with parking in Bergerac while we look at houses. Was surprised to find this lovely little hotel with parking outside and a pool was actually in the centre of Bergerac. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the place Gambetta which was lovely. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good value. Will definitely use again"

"This is a wonderful property. Set in its own acreage, with a covered outdoor dining area with a fireplace, it more than lived up to our expectations. It is a well-loved, well-cared for French farmhouse with many charming touches. We loved the peace and serenity, with Bergerac only 3 km away. We will definitely stay here again."

"What we thought of the property Pros - the lounge room we did like / The bathroom was good with a decent shower / The kitchen although tiny was sufficient and well stocked (although no oven) / The terrace at the front of the terrace was lovely to sit out on in the evenings / It is a quiet location / There is a lean to out the back which is great for drying clothes, unless it is raining. Cons - the bedroom was very dingy / deco generally could do with an update / the dining table uncomfortable / And there is NO off street parking. You park in the street, with your front tyres barely on a tiny verge."

"We stayed in an apartment for 4-6 people for 3 nights. Not happy on a few accounts. 1. There is an exhorbitant deposit required on arrival. 2. There was a detailed inventory we had to check through on arrival and a cost per item if anything was missing. (Some things were missing when we arrived!). 3. We were presented with sheets/towels on arrival. 4. The booking said they spoke French and English. On arrival the person on reception didn't speak any English (although there were other people on reception on other days who did speak some English). (I know it's our problem really for not knowing too much French !). 5. The apartment wasn't well designed. Toilet upstairs, bathroom downstairs. Not much room downstairs and apart from hard chairs next to the table there was only seating for 3. 6. Outside, there was a table and chairs but again, only seats for 3. 7. The grounds (grass area) didn't look particularly well maintained. The pool and jaccuzzi looked good although we didn't use those. You can walk into town. It takes about 30 mins which is fine if you're going in for a few hours."
