"Sits under and is part of an old castle. Wonderful for history buffs. The little patio with its plants and olive tree was a great place for meals. The manager and her husband were super friendly and helpful. Only one complaint and it’s for us seniors. The stairway to the bedrooms is white stone and hard to navigate for those with some vision and mobility issues. Let the over 70 crowd be aware. Otherwise it was wonderful and Boulbon is as charming as a small village can be."

"This was a delightful gite outside the small town of Tarascon. A very old stone house in the heart of a working vineyard so that you feel you are a part of the winemaking that goes on here. Access to the property is clear and easy, through a gate with a key code. The gite has a well equipped kitchen, we cooked every night we stayed here. You are out in the country, (quiet at night) yet close to grocery stores and gas stations. The host Cecile is outgoing, warm and most gracious. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen, the other with 2 twins, and a separate shower/sink. VERY comfortable beds and pillows! Downstairs is the toilette. This gite is well equipped for 2 small children with a large yard for running around, or adults just lounging in the afternoon sun taking in the warmth of Provence. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, outside type of environment. Perfect for one couple, or a couple with small children. Secured parking right on site. I would stay here again absolutely! "

"Stunning property. The pool was very welcome as it was very hot when we were there; the fans in the bedrooms were needed at night! Christian and Marie-Claire were wonderful hosts that kept everything running smoothly while giving us privacy. The fruit and vegetable stands close to the property were amazing and the butcher store in the village was great as well. The apartment itself was very beautiful, authentic and well-decorated! We would recommended it wholeheartedly - our 9 and 14 year old girls especially loved the pool!"

"Our entire family loved being at Mas de L'ilion. It exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were a delightful couple -- welcoming us and making us feel at home. When we first arrived, they provided us with cold fruit drinks and a welcome basket of fruit. We were easily able to get fresh pastries and fruit delivered to us each day. Our accommodations were beautiful and we loved the general plan of the Mas with ensuite bathrooms which was all beautifully decorated. The exterior was inviting with the plants and outdoor seating, and of course the pool was wonderful. It is situated in a lovely village with a good restaurant/brassiere around the corner. We were able to visit many places in the surrounding area like Avignon, St Remy, Gordes, I'ile sur la Sorgue, Les Baux and even took a day trip to Marseille and Cassis. I looked for a long time to find this place and it was perfect. We hated to leave. If you have a large family or a group of friends who want to visit Provence, this home will not disappoint you. I already know my friends in the USA will be asking me to help them plan a trip here for their next visit to France. It is definitely a place we will want to return. "
