"Accommodation in architecturally interesting building separate from reception and breakfast room. Good breakfast. No bar, or mini-bar available. A bed-and-breakfast more than a hotel. Comfortable room, but bathroom ready for maintenance over the winter. Excellent restaurant nearby. "
"The âfamilyâ room has no air conditioning. The upstairs rooms apparently do. We visited during some of the hottest days of the period and were provided one small fan. No inquiry by staff/owners about whether room was tolerable given known high temperatures. The folks that run the place were on property only in morning during our stay, no one on property in evening/night during that period (you call and leave a phone message if you have an issue). Property grounds very run down, surrounding town...

"Good location for exploring the city (on the edge of the historic district so it has the benefit of AC). Good sized rooms (for a European city) with adequate amenities and good bistro. Breakfast good (though crowded on Sunday peak times). Staff very helpful."

"The room was very spacious and clean, the kitchenette was well equipped and convenient to make simple meals. Air conditioning worked fine and it was useful during summer in Bordeaux. The staff were all nice and helpful. There may not be many things around the hotel but it is not from a far distance from tram so still easy to get around. Overall we had a great stay, but would be happier if there can be refill of coffee/tea capsules in the room given we stayed a few nights there and there was no refill during our stay."
"Room was very comfy and the small kitchenette meant we could have breakfast/lunch there if we chose to. The apartments are located next to a tram station allowing quick access into the centre but is also very close to the river with a lively promenade route available for walking into the centre (about 30 mins ). We also used the promenade for our morning run on a couple of mornings. It is also very convenient for the Cite Du Vin which was five minutes walk away. Overall, we found the staff friendly and helpful. Great to have parking in the basement but access is through a side road and you need an access code to enter - which was a bit tricky to figure out on arrival.
Overall, we were very impressed and felt it offered very good value for money."
