"Five Stars! The Perfect Mountain Getaway for Our Family ReunionWe found the perfect headquarters at this beautiful VRBO home on the Cartecay River in Ellijay, GA. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was seamless—clear instructions, easy access, and everything ready for us to relax and enjoy. Great Wi-Fi too!The home exceeded our expectations. Every amenity we wanted was thoughtfully included—from a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living and bonus rooms to roomy bedrooms with great en-suites and large outdoor decks for gathering and relaxing. The sound of the river made for the most peaceful backdrop. Tubes and life-vests for our river float, and a HOT TUBE too! What made this place ideal was the floor plan—it was as if it was built with multi-generational families in mind. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, yet the layout brought us together in all the right ways. The kids (teens are still kids - right?) loved their space (which included a pool table and air-hockey), the adult rooms had privacy, and the multiple living areas were perfect for meals, games, and late-night laughs. BTW - the 4 FULL baths were perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our first reunion and making memories. Highly recommend!"

"My family and I took a quick getaway before the start of the new school year to celebrate a birthday, and this cabin was perfect for our needs. The house was lovely—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We loved the peaceful solitude of the location while still being close enough to explore both Ellijay and Blue Ridge.We enjoyed nearby hiking trails and went whitewater rafting, then returned to relax in the comfort and convenience of the cabin. It was the perfect balance of adventure and downtime. Even our dogs had a blast—plenty of space to roam and relax.We’d definitely stay again!"

"We had a group of 14 (moms and kids), and the house was perfection! Spacious indoor and outdoor space for all! We played games, grilled, used the jacuzzi, outdoor fireplace, made a bonfire, and went down to the winery nearby (within walking distance)! The home is well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking, but make sure to bring your own spices. We appreciated all of the games that were in the house for us to enjoy, along with the strong WiFi."

"Most cozy mountain rental we’ve stayed in this area so far! We loved the layout and enjoyed all the little extras that were provided. We felt so welcome! We planned for the night and just needed a quiet retreat on our long drive. This was more lovely than we anticipated! Appliances are easy to use. We enjoyed laughing and sharing good times on the chairs out on the back patio. Highly recommend for anyone needing a great stay tucked into the mountainside. "

"We had a family reunion with 9 adults and 6 kids, ages 7 and under. This place was absolutely beautiful. Well stocked cabin with everything you need, except, of course groceries. It is beautifully decorated. The bed swings comfortable and relaxing. We played in the river and to the Shoals. It was so nice and relaxing you didn't need to leave the cabin. "

"The driveway was steep and a little difficult to get out of, but the house and location were absolutely AMAZING!! I would, however, recommend a deep cleaning. We had to move furniture and sweep bottle tops, dirt and debris out before our 15 month old grandson arrived."
