Very Good

This hotel was clean, with very comfortable beds and was very close to the central square. It was about a 10-minute walk from the main road where our car dropped us off but someone from the hotel came to meet us and help with our bags. The hotel itself has lots of stairs (no elevator) as is typical of hotels in this area. Breakfast was simple but good, with made-to-order omelets available.
I recently stayed at Hotel Dar Mounir and it was a delightful experience! From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great rooftop view. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was impressive. It's rare to find a place that pays such attention to detail. The atmosphere was relaxing, making it a perfect getaway spot. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay!

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
When we arrived the front desk staff were neither welcoming nor informative. The bed mattresses were very hard and each person got only one pillow. In the bathroom, the water was only luke warm, there was no shampoo, conditioner or lotion (only one kind of soap in a pump dispenser). My husband got an electric shock when his head happened to touch the light cover to the left of the sink. Breakfast buffet was quite sufficient.
Overall, there is a good hotel. Very clean room, with good hospitality, and the security is great. But this is a small hotel, and don't suppose high expectations for breakfast and a big bedroom.
Great Location and Excellent Staff
The staff at Dar Mounir were excellent — friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel is ideally located, with excellent access to the Medina, making it a convenient base for exploring the area.
However, navigating the narrow bumpy streets snd stairs from the taxi drop off, and reaching the hotel with a larger suitcase was a bit challenging, so keep this in mind when packing. The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable for a side sleeper, which affected the overall experience.
Good breakfast, good hot water and AC. Good TV channel selection. Staff gave info about surround areas. This hotel maybe not suitable for people with mobility issues. Many steps inside and outside.
Great breakfast, located in the center of the medina, AC, rooftop terrace, super cute hotel, friendly staff and nice bathrooms. I stayed there with my adult children and would highly recommend it.
Great location close to car park for those who drive like we did. Very close to the main square makes for easy shopping and sightseeing. Good service, clean comfortable room. Recommend for an overnight stay in the blue city.

We booked the hotel through Hotels.com arrived in the evening with all of our motorcycle gear. And found out that they were sold out and did not have room for us. Very disappointing.
And they still have not refunded my money. I think the owners are dishonest people.
Absolutely gorgeous property in a great area! Getting there can be tricky, but try to have your taxi driver drop you off near Pizzeria Mandala and you won’t have to hike up the stairs with your luggage. Don’t forget to try the fresh squeezed orange juice right across from the hotel!
It was clean and very friendly staff. Close to attractions. The room is small but cute. Like fairytale. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We had a great stay. WlMy friend and I chose Dar Mounir because they had a wider variety of bed options rather than just the standard one double or two singles. The breakfast was decent but not amazing, but the staff are out of this world, really.
Fantastic location and staff are wonderful. Everyone is kind and accommodating. Rooms are bit small. Everything else was great!
Thank you for your hospitality!
The hotel is easy to find and is in a great location for walking to all of the attractions. The Medina is small and easy to navigate and very safe. The best part of all was the friendly and helpful front desk girl who helped us in booking bus and train tickets in advance and printing them off for us, as well as restaurant suggestions and directions. The breakfast was good as well. I wouldn’t miss visiting this Blue City. A very unique place in the world and this hotel was perfect for our stay.
