Great hotel overall. The staff were amazing and the rooms and the views from the rooms were great. The only issue is that it is located in a quiet part of town away from the glitzy and fun areas. Easy to take a DiDi to these places for 10 RMB however. Gali who works in the concierge area was particularly helpful in planning my trip. We communicated via WeChat before my arrival which made the trip much easier

Perhaps the best luxury hotel in Chengdu

Helpful check in staff to accommodate my needs. Also joined the dinner buffet in the hotel and the staff there were all excellent.

Everything was very good, specially the Club Lounge and their staff. Only negative is that you need to wear a swimming cap to go to the pool, even if you are bald and it makes the whole thing more like a sporting center than a relaxing hotel pool.

Hotel location is alright, better if nearer to the Metro station. Most of the hotel service staff were experienced enough especially at the coffee house (Spice), namely Ruby and Chef Chris Yuan. Unfortunately, on checking out at the Executive Lounge today, July 8, the lady who attended to us was the least friendly, no smile, didn’t even asked if our stay was pleasant, etc., like she couldn’t wait for us to check out. Most of the other service staff at the executive lounge were up to speed and definitely well deserved to have a pat on their back!

Fabulous stay in Chengdu

Our 5 night stay at the ritz was fabulous. The staff were brilliant, food fantastic and the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and western options. Beautiful pastries, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, fresh cooked eggs and coffee. The view from the room was great. I loved the club lounge and the afternoon tea. Dinner options were good both in the hotel and outside. There are shops and restaurants very close to the hotel. The underground is not far away. I will stay at the Ritz again if I am back in Chengdu.

The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu did not disappoint

It was a truly outstanding stay at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu. The staff is excellent, and I want to specially thank Crystal for her efforts which made the stay even more enjoyable. Very spacious and clean rooms, great facilities and easy process. I will be back.

Only issue I had was the check in. My booking was for 3 pax and confirmed as that. But the insisted in charging me for 1 more pax. Hotel Manager managed the situation very well and resolved it.

Exceptional Stay at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu

I recently stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, and it was an exceptional experience. Though there was a small hiccup with the airport pickup, the team quickly made it up to us, showcasing their commitment to excellent service. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was flawless, and every interaction felt warm and attentive. The rooms were beautifully designed with luxurious touches and breathtaking city views. Housekeeping kept everything spotless, and the little details made it feel extra special. Dining at the hotel was a highlight, with a breakfast buffet offering both local and international options, and the staff in the dining area made each meal feel like a memorable occasion. The amenities were equally impressive, especially the spa and pristine pool, which provided the perfect spots to relax. The location was also ideal for exploring Chengdu. Despite the initial hiccup, the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu’s incredible service more than made up for it, and I left feeling truly taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. We have stayed in other luxury hotels in Chengdu before. This will now be our preferred one. We had a club room . The club lounge had excellent service;, food and drinks. We had breakfast in the main restaurant which was outstanding. Our bedroom and bathroom were spacious, beds were comfortable. Overall a great stay at a beautiful hotel.
