Total disappointment!

Hotels.com made me to pay double price for this booking and got fooled by the 3.5 star rating! and I would not stay again at this location again!

Don’t like.

The room is dirty. The walls, the curtains are so dirty that I move the bed forward so I don’t touch it with my head. The breakfast is not good. The cups and plates are old and dirty. The boys who work in the hotel don’t know English. The area is nice.

Good value hotel near the beach

A tidy, pleasant hotel close to Besant Nagar beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and accommodated a very early check-out to catch a flight. A good option if you'd like to stay near the beach and/or relatively close to the airport.

A very limited breakfast choice

Staff were always attentive . The gym wasnt open at all . When we mentioned the toilet seat was broken , we was told to lift the seat up and sit on the porcelain . Tea and coffee in the room was random , if we got any at all. They ran out of toilet paper so we had to use a box of our wipes. . The settee in reception was filthy. as is the paintwork all over the hotel .

Cheap stay in a quiet part of Chennai

Good service. Staff are courteous, communicate well and are honest about what they can do or can’t do. Hotel is slightly run down but still good value for money. Breakfast is the same everyday with little variety. Although it is good home style local food, it can get boring if you are there for more than a few days. The location is away from busy roads and within a quiet residential area. Its useful that there are some nice food joints within a 2 km radius as the hotel food is very average in quality. The hotel desk will get taxis for you but I preferred to use online ordering systems to get autos or taxis. This was necessary as the hotel is not walking distance to anything of interest be it business, shopping or tourism. Wish owners would invest in improving the place a little.

Wonderful value and great experience!

This was one of the better places I have stayed in India! Even places that cost twice as much were only half as good. The food was great, the staff was great, the value was great, the room was great, the location of the hotel was quite and charming and I really enjoyed everything about the hotel. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting Chennai unless you might want to be closer to a specific location. And also really wonderful Wi-fi!
