The staff were all so very kind, polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet and order able menu options were good if you love Indian food. Continental breakfast items are also there. Loved all the fresh flowers and floating flower arrangements. Plus if you are traveling to chennai by air, it is 10 minutes literally from the airport. Rooms are very generous.

From the get go , I love this place. Security is excellent. Reception is amazing. Rooms are clean and meticulously maintained. They have an excellent collection of drinks. They even have Japanese Suntory. Their shot is half the amount of traditional shot, lol. Not a big deal. They charge you for drop off at airport , which is a bit unusual for the kind of star hotel like this. No complaints. This place is my go to on the last day of my vacation before flying back home

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at anywhere in the world. I've stayed at the Trident three times over the past few years, and each time has been a perfect experience. World class accomodations at an entirely affordable price: about the cost of an average hotel stay in the US, but far exceeds expectations for that price range. I've traveled both alone and with my family, and both experiences were equally satisfying. Next time I'll remember to take pictures.

The staff at the hotel are very well mannered and friendly The rooms are clean and well maintained They offer several very good amenities The breakfast is very good . The restaurant manager was very accommodating He managed to get us what we asked for . We asked for cake in the morning to celebrate our granddaughters birthday . He got it for us with a candle . I asked for a fruit not in the buffet and he sourced that too. The staff at the check in counter were also very accommodating. We will definitely make this our stop on our next trip to Chennai
