Bon séjour au gîte du calme. Mais je trouve dommage de ne pas avoir vu la propriétaire. Ni à mon arrivée ni à mon départ. En gîte pour la première fois j’aurais aimé avoir plus de renseignements. Surtout au petit déjeuner. Mais pas important. Le gîte porte bien son nom. Le gîte du calme est vraiment calme et reposant.

Goedkoop en daarbij is alles gezegd. Veel insecten, spinnenweb, vochtig (handdoeken met slechte geur). Niemand bij aankomst en bij vertrek. Geen werkende internet. Slecht ontbijt (droog brood, jam potten bijna leeg, kaas vloot ook bijna leeg, 3 appelsienen voor fruitsap voor 2 personen). Zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar

merci pour le conseil des fermes charentaises ou nous avons pu nous régaler pour le déjeuner ; cependant , nous étions déçus par le petit déjeuner ( pain et croissant pas frais ) et par le lit inconfortable ( on sentait les ressorts )

Petit week-end tranquille

La maison offre de grandes chambres qui mériteraient d’avoir une literie plus grande (140) et un peu plus confortable pour certaines. L’hôtesse est absolument charmante et très discrète. Le jardin est magnifique et calme, nous n’avons hélas pas eu le temps d’en profiter, ni de la piscine.

Gite du Calme is a lovely house in a wonderful setting, and our host Julia was so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Gire du Calme for a quiet relaxing stay.

Grande maison très au calme. Grandes chambre et salle de bain. Piscine, trampoline, table ping pong. Salle a manger pour petit déjeuner copieux. Seul bémol la qualité de la literie

un vrai Havre de Paix

Un vrai havre de paix! Un immense jardin avec piscine, hamac et transat, vue sur les vignes, jeux: arc/flèche, raquette, etc... des arbres fruitiers, des chats.. Un petit déjeuner trop sucré à mon gout mais très très copieux! Julia est adorable et aux petits soins. J'y retournerai avec grand plaisir pour y séjourner pour des vacances personnelles cette fois-ci!

Confortable mais il faut se débrouiller

Excellent accueil. Chambre spacieuse, salle de bain également. Le tout au calme. Petit bémol, il y a une cafetière à filtre mais que du café instantané et c'est aux clients de faire le café. Les viennoiseries ne sont pas du jour. Le lait frais n'est pas en quantité suffisante pour le nombre de clients. La maîtresse de maison devrait être présente au moment du petit déjeuner.

Nous avons disposé de toute la maison pour nous (couple) car les autres chambres n'étaient pas occupées ce soir là. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueuillis par notre hôte. La maison est spacieuse et chaleureuse. La musique nous a mis dans une ambiance cosy dès notre arrivée.

Gite de Calme- is just that Calm

Gite de Calme aptly named it is just that, peaceful,location, very warm welcome set in Charente countryside, easy access for Cognac, Saints Comfortable spacious gite, well equpped Wifi was a bit hit and miss
