Khotyn Fortress is situated on the banks of the Dniester River in Ukraine. This current fort was constructed in 1325 with later constructions and additions dating to the 1380’s and the 1460’s. It has been used extensively as a film location during the Soviet period and also in independent Ukraine due to its excellent state of repair.
You can visit this unesco designated sight on a group tour. The main building was originally the private residence of the dalmatians in the duchy of Bukovina. Since it was a palace, of course they had their own church.
