"The duty manager was friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. Convenient location with numerous food and fuel options close by. Easy parking and access. The room was clean, well-stocked and I slept VERY well under the warm blankets on a comfortable bed. Nothing fancy, and that's what I wanted. Thanks to the management and staff!"

"This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. "This B&B was one of the highlights of our trip to Cooperstown. Not only was the historical building gorgeous and beautifully (painstakingly!) restored, but the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was DELICIOUS (thanks, Chef!), the in room amenities were top quality, and the room itself was cozy and quiet. It’s walkable to the Baseball HOF and other Main Street attractions. "This accommodation worked great for us. Great location for a ride on the Erie Canal Trail. It isn’t a fancy place but has eating and antiques nearby. There is a working kitchen for those who want to cook or make coffee and a living area separate from bedroom. You will find a do it yourself bike shop area across the street in the mill across the street.
