Bucolic setting and helpful host (be sure to ask for restaurant recommendations and make reservations in advance if you can). Accessible to Auxerre (short drive). Great simple breakfasts.

We were there for one night. Nice room with beautiful bathroom. Pleasant breakfast with local products. The house itself (roof, outside appearance) and the common area need serious improvements. Since rooms are upstairs help with luggage for seniors would be appreciated. We paid similar price for an entire very nice house near castles.

Souvenir mitigé

Avis mitigé car autant le cadre est magnifique, autant le dépaysement est total... autant la maitresse de maison est susceptible. Je pensais mettre un avis favorable, mais j'ai eu la mauvaise idée de préciser que le WIFI était très mauvais, que le réseau téléphonique était catastrophique et qu'il n'y avait pas de restaurant à moins de 15 minutes de la chambre d'hôtes. Avis qui semblait pas du tout au goût de Madame qui l'a mal pris en me contredisant systématiquement lors du petit déjeuner que j'aime prendre dans le calme. -J'ai constaté que le WIFI était très mauvais et que je ne pouvais pas télécharger les pièces jointes de mes mails. -J'ai constaté que le réseau téléphonique Orange ne passait pas ou très mal.. -J'ai constaté qu'il n'y avait pas de restaurant à moins de 15 minutes. -J'ai constaté que l'adresse n'était pas facile à trouver sur le GPS et que j'ai utilisé Google Maps pour trouver. Voilà point, ce sont des faits. Libre à Madame de contester mais c'est mon avis et c'est pas la peine de m'expliquer que j'ai tord le matin lors de mon petit déjeuner ou je pensais pas avoir de compte à rendre. Je passe en moyenne 70 nuits par ans dans des hôtels, j'ai donc une vague de ce à quoi on a droit pour 90€ la nuit. J'en profite donc pour joindre une photo de l'araignée qui m'a tenu compagnie dans la salle de bain. Je ne comptais pas en parler, mais Madame m'a un peu gâché le souvenir de ma visite. Je ne vous critiquait pas, je vous signalais juste des faits.
