"I frequently go to Chiang Mai and Bed Changkian is where I stay. The rooms are spacious and well thought out. Water pressure is good and housekeeping daily. Beds are comfortable. Quiet floors so not a lot of noise, if at all at night. Airplanes do fly overhead but it’s infrequent and doesn’t bother me, easily tuned out. "The pictures posted don’t do this stat justice - it was even more beautiful in person! The staff was incredible, the room was spotless, and we felt very cared for. The staff even noticed when we checked in that it was my birthday and provided us with a cake to celebrate. Next time we are in Chiang Mai we will be back to Merchant Villa"

"This is a nice hotel and a great part of Chiang Mai. An easy walk to the Maya Mall and the occasional night market. The room was nice. The bed was soft enough to be comfortable, but not quite as nice as a Marriott perhaps. There were many choices for breakfast to suit just about any taste and it was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
