Weather was marginal while we were there so we enjoyed the comforts of the inside a fair amount. Restaurants were sparse in the area but we found a few and didn’t go hungry. Had a relaxing stay."

"The lake location is great, so quite but also has deep water for floating. My group of couples with a few kids (1.5-4yo) had a great week for Labor Day. Walk to the lake isn’t too steep, needed to hold the little ones hands so they didn’t trip on rocks. Bedrooms are a little small, fine for a couple just using the room to sleep, but tight fit for a pack n play in rooms other than the master. The main kitchen is a bit small for more than 1 cook at a time. Great to have the downstairs kitchen for extra storage of snacks and beverages. One thing that we thought was gross was the upstairs bathroom has carpet. The mountain store is nice for forgotten items, but anything else is about 20-30min away. Overall great place and would stay again."
