"Steve is welcoming and runs a beautiful hotel. My room overlooked the sea,and was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely , fresh fruits, compôte , yoghurts, warm bread and croissants. Lovely coffee. All in all I would recommend Chapter 1 as a very civilised resting place. "

"Made an improvised stop to Dorchester on our way to the West Coast. The Bay Tree House was the first of many wonderful discoveries in the region. I would say, take more time to smell the roses and stay longer. This estabiahment is a great base for all your exploration."

"Lovely setting in West Bexington. The manor is good value. People are lovely and Jordan is a great asset to the team. Food at venue is good and the Drinks available more than adequate. It’s an old hotel so don’t expect everything to be flash and ultra modern, however the atmosphere is homely and calm. Very dog friendly. "

"We enjoyed our stay at The Spice Ship. It was in a really good location for us and it had parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great and the Sunday roast was the best meal we had had on our 3 week holiday in England! Would stay there again if we are ever back in Weymouth."

"Got a family room (5people) with sea view which was freshly renovated clean and spacious. Newly furnished, new comfy mattresses large winfow facing the sea. Bathroom freshly renovated and modern with shower cubicle. The pictures in the listing were taken before renovation and doesn't do the justice. I was impressed with the room. Parking at the back of the property tight but available. Pool table, darts and evening entertainment in the basement. Pleasant stay just staff running around and hard...
