"This place was so cozy and inviting it was hard to leave. The house was spotless, we had plenty of room to spread out, we had areas to hang out in as a family, and I loved the fact that I was able to do all of our laundry so that when we did get home all I had to do was put it away. There was a sweet snack basket surprise, and my youngest daughter loved all of the toys!"

"The rooms were pretty clean. I questioned whether the floor had been mopped. The doors didn’t lock on the bathroom or the bedrooms in our cabin. They don’t furnish towels or bedding. The fitted sheet that they do, furnish, would not stay on the bed it was so cheap and had no elasticity to it. Otherwise, the grounds were clean and we enjoyed our time there. Maybe be slightly overpriced though for the cottages."

"My entire three-day experience was very pleasant. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable. I appreciated the soaps, hair products and other health and beauty aids. The breakfast was very convenient. I was intrigued by the privacy shade on the window, where I could see out but which provided total privacy. My only problem during my stay, which was in no way connected with the hotel, was that coming back from Owensboro to the south, the highway exit leading to the hotel was blocked due to road construction. However, there was a turnaround a mile or so up the road. I will definitely plan to make reservations at this hotel during my future trips to the Owensboro area."
Potter Cottage - Beautiful Serene Setting

"The Potter Cottage was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for all of us. The property was clean upon arrival; the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Plenty of towels. Host Emily was very quick to respond to all questions. Check in and check out process was smooth. The catch and release pond had hungry fish and we all enjoyed the games in the garage area. Would highly recommend!"

"It is a beautiful property. AI must have done the description for number of beds that was originally listed because it marked one of the rooms as having more beds, but this was noted to the host on our arrival and was fixed for future patrons. We made it work for the people we had and it was still a great time. Everything was clean and it was only 5 minutes from Holiday World. We would stay here again in the future."

"Clean property. The outside had been mowed but a weed eater was not used, so grass was grown up high next to the building. The listing claimed it could sleep 8, but there were only three beds with no pull out couch. It probably should be listed as sleeping 6 people unless someone is ok with sleeping on a couch."

"We had a great stay! The location couldn’t have been better—it’s across the street from Holiday World, making it incredibly convenient.The space is much larger than it appears. It has 10 separate areas, including a full kitchen, living room, three bedrooms, a laundry room, two bathrooms (one with a toilet and sink, and another with a shower), plus multiple hallways that provide extra privacy. Both the kitchen and living room have doors, which helped keep noise from traveling throughout the unit.The unit has a private entrance at the back of the building, and it backs up to a wooded area, making it feel quiet and secluded.The host was very responsive and accommodating. I asked about an early check-in, and they allowed it as soon as the property had been cleaned, which we really appreciated.The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, cookware, and everything we needed to prepare meals. There are five TVs throughout the unit, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well, keeping the entire space comfortable.The furniture is on the more budget-friendly side, but everything was clean, functional, and served its purpose. Overall, this was a spacious, comfortable place to stay in an excellent location, and we’d definitely stay here again."
