"King room was a good size. Coffee maker only. A/c filter needed cleaning but worked great after. The staff made it happen right away. No included bkfast. But there's a small diner on the grounds with an impressive menu. Lots of parking but it can fill up at night when people return. A little tricky turning in from the road so go slow and look both ways. It's a large hotel with several 2-story sections. A room in the rear-most section will reduce any road noise. I had a very pleasant stay and would stay there again."

"Fun, Clean & Great Value! My husband and I stayed at The Rambler during SDSU Parents Weekend and really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and full of fun California-themed touches. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We loved the free parking, complimentary coffee and simple breakfast bar, and the pool looked great (although we didn't have time to use it!). There are also made-to-order food and specialty drinks available for purchase. Overall, The Rambler offers great value, a fun atmosphere, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again!"
