"We were greeted by Susanna who speaks great English & explained all about the house,etc. Our host left a welcome basket & local wine, that was most appreciated.As the narrow streets are pedestrian & down from the square there are plentiful, safe spaces to park. Lolas convienience store, who open daily & will give you the warmest welcome. We recommend the croissants she sells each morning and the nearby bar does great coffee with freshly made churrus & thick chocolate.The host leaves everything you need for a home from home stay and the views day & night from the roof terrace do not disappoint. Casa Bonita is a beautiful house well presented and is rather tardis like in its clever layout. The bedrooms are great sizes with plenty of storage.Much thought has gone into providing everything for your stay & the decor is rustic Spanish with many added extras. A well stocked kitchen, plus shops and restaurants nearby, mean that you can choose to cook at the house or eat out easily. There are many nearby walks and the beaches are a short drive away.The Green Olive restaurant serves great food and you must try the desserts..leave room they are big.The bar on the square serves drinks and filling plates of food both establishments are friendly and welcoming, as is the town.Malaga city is well worth a visit, we also recommend Granada if you have a car.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the host and house. Very relaxing."

"The villa is in a beautiful, peaceful location, perfect for those looking for a bit of seclusion. The upstairs floors do creak a lot and entering the villa was a bit tricky, but overall it was a lovely stay. Our host, Maria, was absolutely amazing—she made sure we were well taken care of and quickly assisted with any issues that came up. Would recommend, and would return again. Thank you."

"Great house, a lot of facilities, amazing host, great pool area, beautiful setting.A 10-minute drive off the main road on a track over the ridge of beautiful hills gets you to the house.A very large porch welcomes you with great views of dotted white villages and Velez-Málaga, and the coast.From the balcony of your bedrooms and the pool area, views of the mountain in the background offer the best canvas for your holiday pictures. The sound (the only sound) you will hear is the faraway dog barking!Don't be scared of the drive up the track, it's very safe, day and night, first and second gear will get you there in 10 minutes or so, with any small car. We were given fresh fruit, eggs and vegetables from the host almost daily, and so the pool was cleaned and fresh water poured in. We will be back!"

"A lovely villa high in the hills above Malaga, with a pool, the only thing missing was air conditioning although fans were supplied. Comares is a spectacular hilltop village with stunning views right down to the coast. All in all a great weeks holiday with the family."

"The villa was excellent as well as the host, David. I have to say the views were magnificent! Great stay but was terrified of the spiral roads and heights was an issue for me. I wish i had know earlier as to how remote we were, i probably would not have picked the villa for just 1 week as it was a bit of a long trek from airport. But hindsight is a wonderful thing. I would definitely pick another one of David's villa in future. Thank you for your generous hospitality. "
