"Wow! What a beautiful spot. My communications with the hotel prior to arriving were great and such friendly responses. When we arrived we were amazed how easy it was to park at the hotel. We arrived early and headed over to the wonderful Bar Motta for amazing pizza while our room was being made ready. The front desk staff were just as friendly in person. Our room was spacious and very pretty with a large shower. We had drinks overlooking the water that evening and walked around the town. There is a women's dress shop in the centre square with some amazing deals! There is also a centrally located laundromat within walking distance. Breakfast was a full buffet of delicious hot and cold choices and the option of a great cappuccino! The ferry is literally steps from the hotel and we were able to get a day pass which allowed us to visit Bellagio and Menaggio. Do consult the ferry schedule as not all ferries stop at Argegno. We had made a reservation for dinner at the hotel restaurant before we got there and am I ever glad we did! The dinner was excellent and the setting romantic. Our waiter even brought us a local fish appetizer on the house. We were at Hotel Belvedere for two nights but I was sad to leave!"

"The view from the apartment was absolutely beautiful. The pictures provided were accurate and the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. Daniel provided us with many helpful tips and even secured a dinner reservation for us at a lovely local restaurant Stone House where we had a delicious meal. It was so nice to be able to sit on the porch and look at the lake. If you have the opportunity to rent this apartment, do it! You will not be disappointed!!"

"Excellent location, host, villa, and spectacular grounds. The pictures do not do it justice. Quaint town walkable distance from Villa. We rented a car and found it helpful to get to Menaggio, then ferried to Bellagio. We would stay here again and again! "

"Amazing staff that cannot do enough for you, its a little out of the way with 4 restaurants nearby but the walk to them is not easy as there are few pavements on a windy road. But went to bellagio and varenna where its busier. I would recommend the hotel for a quieter location away from the busy crowds "

"The minute you enter the boutique hotel lobby you’re greeted by a lovely attendant. He was very helpful and so nice. Our room was super clean, very new, and beautiful. The included breakfast is fantastic! Views of the lake were spectacular. The location is about 10 minutes (walking) from a cafe and 10 min drive from a small town. Walking is a bit doggy with limited sidewalks and speedy traffic, but we managed with no problems. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"I would have given 5 stars if the restaurant was up and running but the restaurant was under construction. Everything is excellent, not as busy as other places so it is very romantic, beautiful and quiet away from the noisy part of Lake Como. Perfect get away place to stay for us."

"The hotel is a little out of the way but our room La Vista was beautiful. Parking is not actually at the hotel just a few metres north of the hotel. There’s a sign on the road saying ‘21’ and the driveway is immediately north of that. Go down and take the first right and park anywhere. Once you have someone show you how to get to reception, it’s easy. We decided the best way to see the lake was by driving to Bellagio and paying for parking for the day then using the boats to look at each village. We had a great time."
