"This was a first floor in a quiet gated community a couple of kilometres away from Muizenberg itself. The beach was just a 5-minute walk away and had afternoon walks on the beach past the kite boarders to the colourful beach huts and Muizenberg centre. There was a local store nearby and the more general stores were about 1.5 kilometres away, bordering a township. As a 2-bedroom apartment, it was spacious, the freezer could have been bigger, and the toilet had an ablution hose. There's a communal swimming pool and the security staff were both helpful and friendly. Definitely, a place for an extended stay for the quietness, closeness to the beach and a place to relax. Ubers are easy to get, though the 22-kilometre drive into Cape Town can limit your late night returns. We'll consider staying here again. "

"Truly a home away from home ! i arrived after 10PM at night and was warmly received by Jolie and her team who went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Each en-suite room has a TV and it's own bar fridge over and above the well equipped kitchen and dining room. The lounge has a massive LED TV with the full DSTV Premium bouquet so no shortage of things to watch with guests. A nice touch was having an ironing service available which worked out perfectly for all the creased shirts after a long trip. Secure parking with 24 hour security on the property. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cape Town."

"A very disappointed stay. Two key issues 1) One set of keys didn't have a fob so we got locked out of the property and needed someone else inside the property to come open the doors 2) Main bedroom was located on the mezzanine and there was no way to switch off the chandelier which was directly opposite the bed. We contacted the agent (after hours) on the first night and unfortunately had to keep with the chandelier light on. The following morning, the agent kept asking us to check the we had turned all the lights off. We advised that the light switch was broken and asked whether we could turn off the light from the switchboard. We were advised no. They then said that they would send a maintenance person either the same day or the next day despite us advising that we would be checking out the next day and urgently needed the light turned off. They ignored my messages for the rest of the evening after I asked if maintenance was coming. I then escalated to hotels.com which advised that the maintenance would not be able to come that night therefore, both nights we "slept" with the chandelier on. Compensation and/or partial refund was not provided and I will be making a formal complaint to the South African Tourism board with regards to this property. It is a shame as the property was quite nice otherwise. "
