"Room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice location for walking around downtown Montrose (which is very cute). We were initially placed in a queen room when we reserved a king; fortunately we were able to switch into a king. Coffee bar downstairs was convenient and made good drinks. There is no elevator and the stairs are very steep. It’s only one flight which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others. Bedside wall lights are awkwardly placed so they need to be moved to avoid hitting your head and moved back for reading. Transportation from the airport to the hotel was difficult (uber and Lyft not reliable there, no taxis at airport) so plan to make arrangements in advance."

"The hotel was clean, but it does need renovated. Everything worked, however, and the staff was fantastic. Breakfast was basic but good. The location was great. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. The room had a huge TV, which was much larger than most hotel rooms, so that was nice. I would stay there again. The price was $125 a night. I think it probably should have been about $90, considering the need for an update. Overall, it was good and I think other hotels in Montrose were much more expensive."

"Hotel was dated but very clean and nice. Hotel staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast was great. Would recommend staying here price is very good as well. Would definitely stay here again."

"Stores and restaurants nearby, so no need for us to cook, but I saw the kitchen had a variety of pans and utensils if I had wanted or needed to do so. Very comfy and cozy, in a quiet neighborhood."

"The Best! I am so happy got to stay in spacious, comfortable private room connected to nice house. The view from my room was wonderful with mountains distance and great location for visiting the spectacular north rim of Black Canyon National Park ! There is not much to do with almost no eating options close by, but I cooked food in full kitchen, The owner left essentials including coffee maker and coffee as well as some food items such as instant oatmeal and cereal (and even eggs in refrigerator). I enjoyed my stay very much !"
