"The people who has the hotel were very accommodating as we came in late and they had technically closed but they came and open the doors for us and got us settled and helped us with parking as we arrived in the middle of a festival - very friendly and nice people "

"Did a quick overnight at a very eclectic spot. Could double as an art museum in a very old mansion with newly renovated rooms. Close to a very busy part of the city with Restraunts and nightlife close by. Streets were packed with action a few blocks away but not close enough to bother us. "
"This hotel is newer and in a nice location, within walking distance of many eating areas and shopping. The only drawback currently is they’re working on the road so it can be a little noisy, but other than that everything was great and the staff were welcoming. "
"The rooms are modern and very clean and comfortable. As a solo female traveler I also felt very safe here and could walk around to the market, bakery and restaurants easily. I really enjoyed my stay and it was nice to have a shared kitchen where I could store food in a fridge and make coffee each morning. The staff is very friendly a responsive and helpful. They even gave me a ride to the train station when I left Catania. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to my friends and family."

The property uses self check-in, which was great because I arrived at an odd time. It went very smoothly. The instructions they sent were very detailed.
My room was spacious and the bed comfortable.

"Rob cordially welcomed us to B&B 5 Balconies even though we arrived late at night. We stayed in a very nice room, but shared two bathrooms with the other three rooms, which was not a problem because they were well equipped and tidy.
The B&B provides an excellent breakfast with local bread and fresh fruit and the owners make sure to provide a pastry to your preferences. They also gave us some very nice recommendations for food and drinks around Catania.

"Had a fantastic 4 night stay at this B&B! We had the desert room which was clean and very quiet. Rooms and bathroom were very modern. Safe neighborhood, we walked at night with no issues. "We enjoyed a very comfortable stay here. Antonio helpfully arranged transport from the airport. Via Caronda was rather shabby but we never felt unsafe in the area - Via Etnea was just around the corner with buses to the city centre and a useful 24 hour coffee kiosk/bar on the corner of the square.
Our room was clean and comfortable with good air-conditioning and a small fridge. The garden was lovely to sit and unwind before heading out to one of the nearby restaurants and to enjoy breakfast....
"This is a bed and breakfast, but the owner does not live on site.
The hotel is on the 5th floor of residential building with a gate - so you won't know you're there until the owner meets you (no signs etc). Google maps will tell you you're there. If you see a gated building and Google says you're there, it is probably correct.
If you're coming from the airport or train, take the Alibus to Viale bus stop and you'll be about 2 minute walk from the hotel - If you're coming from train ask someone...
