Lakefront, two bedroom, full bath. Relax, swim, kayak & fish on Lake Lookout.

Relaxing two queen bedroom home, one full bath, washer and dryer, fully equipped open kitchen, fire pit, private dock, kayaks, life jacket, wi-if, lake front property. Public boat ramp close by. Enjoy fishing, swimming and relaxing in the foothills of NC. **due to fraud we do not accept checks, only credit cards or bank transfer through VRBO. Located in Claremont, NC. 4858 Longfield st.
We are not on lake Norman but about 20 miles from it. We are a lake between Norman and Lake Hickory. Very relaxing, big enough to ski, tube, swim but small enough to not worry about the big crowds.

"Anchors Away" on Lake Lookout is a very comfortable, quiet place with a great view of the lake from the big windows in the living room & sunroom where we enjoyed beautiful views of the sunrise over the lake. (Don't sleep in our you'll miss the sunrise!). The beds are comfy, and the shower is nice. The kitchen has all the amenities you may need during your stay. The best part of our stay though was sitting in the provided sun loungers watching our 7 year old granddaughter and 5 year old grandson playing in the water and the sand with the provided water and sand toys (and thank goodness there were 2 sand backhoes,1 for each!). A very pleasant stay, and Rob was a very gracious host and answered inquiries within a short time. We will definitely book again when visiting our son's family in Western NC!

Perfect Getaway on Lookout Lake!!

The house and lake were perfect! We stayed for a week and had everything we needed! The house was clean, the kitchen well stocked, the beds were comfy, towels and water toys abundant. The wifi has good speed as well. The neighbors were extremely nice and full of tools for fishing!

Great stay great location

Great weekend getaway with family. House is very clean and kitchen/bath has everything you need and more. We launched our jet skis right from the beach and played all day. Added bonus was all the water toys such as kayaks rafts and floats as well as fishing rods and tackle. Will definitely come back for a longer stay soon.

Awesome place to spend a weekend !

We arrived during a foggy , rainy night ! When we entered the property we were very pleased with the home itself ! The next morning was sunny and opening the blinds brought an amazing view of the lake . Our overall stay was wonderful ! We plan to return !
