"We loved sitting on the screened in porch in the beautiful 80 degree, sunny weather and just looking at the lake. We spent a lot of time on the porch. The dock was good for our boat and the pool table was played often. The house was well taken care of and in good shape. We love Hayesville so thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful home. We would definitely stay there again."

"The home is beautiful and the outside setting is warm, bucolic, and peaceful! Hayesville is a quiet, small town, that is not touristy, so if you want to get some rest and peace in a medicinal place, this is it. There are several tourist towns within ten miles if that is what your up for. I will think of this place first when we want another getaway."

"The house is a very open with a very small kitchen.The back porch is unbelievable.Looking over the lake and also watching the deer in the groundhogs play in front yard watching storms roll in and the sunrise.And sunset. The house is separated from the dock.with warshiping cente it does not get used very often.The dock is shared with another person parks a pontoon boat that makes dock space very limited."

"The motel was very clean. We could get clean towels, toilet paper and coffee when we needed with a code for the lobby. Even though the check in was online, we did meet the owner. She was very friendly, and made sure we had all we needed. The view from our room was beautiful as Lake Chatuge was across the road. We definitely will be going back."

"This beautiful home on Lake Chatuge is spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed for a fabulous family late summer vacation. We loved lounging and swimming from the dock on the quiet but expansive cove and also rented a pontoon boat and spent hours exploring the lake and tubing. We had a campfire in the fire pit one evening and enjoyed the smores provisions left for us by the host and also took a dip in the hottub. Everything about the house is beautifully maintained and labeled to make for a very enjoyable stay. I can't recommend it highly enough!"

"We stayed at this cabin on the creek for a few days while in town for a family reunion. The property and amenities were extremely nice—exactly as shown and described. The host was extremely helpful with messages ahead check-in and check-out, as well as other tips on what to do/see in the area. The cabin is charming, clean and super comfortable. The large open kitchen and great room were perfect for everyone to gather, the back porch was sooo relaxing and the fishers in our crew really enjoyed the convenience of walking out to the creek each morning. Our only disappointment was not having more downtime to enjoy the place for a few more hours each day. Since we have family the area, we plan to book again and I would recommended this little gem to anyone visiting Hayesville, Hiawassee or Lake Chatuge. Zero regrets!"

"House was fantastic for our month long stay away from Florida heat. Isolated and quiet yet minutes from lovely Hayesville. House was on the river and we loved every minute. Screened porch was our “go to” place for AM coffee, reading, relaxing, and afternoon wine. House stocked extremely well(kitchen, towels, etc.). We loved Hayesville and Hiawassee. My sister and I also fly fished Fires Creek, Mission Dam, Tusqiutee Creek & Nantahala River. Tough summer fishing but it is “fishing “. If I could give more stars than 5 for Wood Haven I would. Theresa was wonderful and very responsive. One of the best VRBO’s I’ve experienced."
