Majestic Getaway

The first thing you notice when walking through the doors are the majestic views of the GA mountains. The house is designed to give you those views from different places through out. The craftsmanship on the interior of the home is beautiful. The design and decor enhance your experience. We also enjoyed the fire pit very much!

Convenient and great architecture

Very close to Clayton, Lake Burton, Tallulah River hikes, and Atlanta really. House is very well designed, can easily accommodate two families with the three private bedrooms plus a kids room. Great shared spaces, the basement is great for kids and lots of nooks to hang out on the main level. Property is at the very top of a local mountain, so very private and great views all around. Outdoors looks nicer than the photos with new landscaping.

Beautiful View

This cabin had everything you could want and more. The beds were so comfortable and I honestly felt like I was in my own bed at home. Everything was so clean and Lisa could not have been more helpful and accommodating.

Mountain Getaway

Mountain Retreat

A wonderful place for our annual mountain retreat for 7 women. Plenty of space for a relaxing visit. Only a short distance from shopping and hiking, but the home was secluded and private. Quiet, spacious with an amazing view. The owners were quick with communication and flexible with our schedule. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about how beautiful the house is and the view is spectacular!

We had a wonderful time, would definitely go back again. If you plan on going into town definitely try Fortify for dinner, it was delicious! Such a beautiful area. The only warning for people like me who aren’t used to driving in the mountains is be prepared to be scared driving up the mountain to the house. It’s extremely steep, four wheel drive would have really come in handy in some areas!!!

The property was beautiful. The property had not been cleaned. Cleaning service came right away and all was well. The fourth bedroom was downstairs in an unfinished basement. What a surprise! Overall the property is quite lovely and all went well. I would recommend this property to others for a great time away.

Perfect family vacation!

Our family had an amazing stay. Communication with the host was great. The home was beautiful, clean, and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked many meals together during the stay. There was no worry of getting bored as there were many games, books, a pool table and darts to keep everyone occupied during rain. We also really enjoyed building a campfire at night and making s’mores with the kids. Such a great time we will hold dear. The area offered more than we could possibly accomplish in one trip, so we are definitely planning to return!

Family Fall Break

It was the perfect spot for us to land for a short fall break trip. The view was great and the house fit us perfectly. Some of the windows were covered with plastic and painters tape that impacted the view from certain areas of the house but I think they were having some painting done. Also, there is an awesome basement space that would have been GREAT if it was finished. The kids didn't want to go down there because it seemed scary/unfinished.

The best ever!

By far, this is the most beautiful place we have stayed. There is one neighbor, off to one side, and there are no other houses as far as you can see, except one roof way way out there . Lisa's home is absolutely beautiful! Mountain ranges go on for ever. The floor plan is wonderful and we really enjoyed the porches immensely. Many many waterfalls close by and about 20 min. from grocery stores and businesses, which was exactly what we wanted. Lisa was a dear woman and always close to the phone if we had any questions or needed anything. We would highly recommend this property to everyone. Thank yoh Lisa, for everything! 😁

Beautiful home and gorgeous view

This property is breathtaking! The home is very accommodating for our family of 10. I couldn't have asked for a better place! Very relaxing! We had an issue when we arrived with the water pressure found out the water filter on the tank was clogged, changed it all was well. The house is very well furnished with everything you need. There were several times I contacted the owner and Lisa was wonderful. On Friday evening we had a power outage for about 1:45 minutes. I made contact with Lisa she contacted the power company and kept me informed on the power situation until resolved. Lisa was wonderful to work with. Great place and we will definitely return here again!

Mountain Home in Heaven, jaw dropping veiws, emaculant architecture

Where should I start? ... wow this place is simply unbelievable! I feel honored to have gotten to stay at Kleinhaus Mountain home, really. A few areas that stand out as I reflect on my short 2 night trip,1. Location - Mountain top. You literally feel as if you are in heaven. And to make it better, almost every room has windows with stunning views. Two of us never left once we arrived because THIS HOUSE is just THAT.... amazing.2. Architecture - the design and key details of the home are nothing short of SUPBERB. Each guest that stayed during the weekend was continuously complimenting and pointing out something special that amazed them about this home's architectural design, from the moment they arrived until we left on Sunday morning. 3. Enjoyment for all - the kids loved loved loved the "hidden room" where they would play with their toys or play with their iPads. Also the younger kids would read for a couple of hours at time in the reading nook while the older kids & adults played pool or ping pong. Also, even though the house was so high on top of the mountain, you still felt safe for your kids to run around and play outside which was a selling point for us. We wanted the breathtaking mountain veiws, but also wanted our children to be able to play outside and run around without the worry that they would fall down the mountain and this house was perfect for that. The kids could actually circle the entire house without us parents fearing for their safety. 4. Lisa was an absolute joy to work with. She has been extremely accommodating and I look forward to coming back to Kleinhaus again in the future. She and her family have really taken pride and effort in making sure stay is perfect. We loved the binder that was made that included photos of all the trails, waterfalls, and other area attractions with detailed information about everything! Wow wow wow. 5. Warning to anyone planning to book this house, plan to stay longer than 2 nights bc you will just leave heartbroken wishing you had at least one more night. Our short 2 night 1 day trip wasn't long enough, so that's my only regret. Oh how I pray I get to come back very soon. I can't imagine the views in the spring, summer, or especially the beautiful fall seasons.
