It’s conveniently located, close to several cafes and restaurants. It had reasonable rates, and the room was very clean. There were enough free parking spots. The owners are a wonderful couple, extremely courteous and friendly. They were very helpful in pointing out things to do while in town. Great experience and will stay here again next time we visit.

This is a throwback to the 60s. Original, not updated. So it was fun to stay, and it was a great value for a place to stay. Not everyone will like it. The owners were really sweet. We only needed a place to sleep and shower. Though the hot water was iffy. A great nostalgic 50s dinner was close by. If you like that kind of thing.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable. The refrigerator had a great freezer to freeze water bottles for the next day. We had a little trouble with the hot water control in the shower, but we survived.

The nicest people. I stay there quite often when I getaway for a night. Location is perfect. Next to the diner/lounge and the newer brew pub. Can walk to both.

This is an older motel, but it was clean and comfortable. As with many older places, the biggest problem was finding electrical outlets to plug in phones etc . The property was close to the center of Cle Elum and a 25 minute drive from Ellensburg, so it was a convenient stay for us. No frills, but clean and adequate. Note that the train tracks are nearby, but didn't wake us up.

They still use old-fashioned room keys there, but the property is very well kept there’s even space there for barbecue and sitting around outside which is nice. The rooms are efficient nothing fancy but there’s a microwave and the bathroom is well-maintained and clean and little amenities that they view to use in the shower the beds were fresh linen. I would stay there again. It’s very quiet and a great stopping place. If you’re going to or coming back from the Gorge in that area, the only thing I could complain about was there was no tissues in the room and I don’t like to blow my nose in toilet paper lol

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and there was no hot water. I was later told by someone else who used to live in this hotel that you have to wait at least 30 minutes with the water running for the water to even start to get warm because they have a cistern hot water system. The hotel itself is clean they have good parking and they are cheap. If you were in a pinch and need a roof over your head it's a last resort but I do not recommend it if you need to get clean or if you want a good night's sleep.

For the price, I really wasn't expecting a lot but I was very pleasantly surprised. I got a nice clean room at a very reasonable price. I was perfectly satisfied with it. I didn't check to see what (if any) amenities they offered as we arrived late at night and had to leave at 6am. It was literally just a place to sleep, and for that it was great. The bed was slightly more comfortable than the typical hotel slabs of granite most places make you sleep on. I would stay there again if passing through Cle Elum.
