Aloft properties are especially good for business travel, and this was no exception. Inviting lobby and staff, with a bar and breakfast options (mostly prepackaged, like yogurts and simple handhelds, but also varied coffee options— I had a great latte made for me). Comfortable and spacious rooms. Fairly quiet. This location is very close to an outdoor mall area with lots of dining options too (including a grocery store), so finding meals was a breeze. Would stay again.

Aloft hotel is always my first choice for a stay. If I stay anywhere else is because aloft is not available or because there has been a substantial spike in the room rates but otherwise it’s the first stop on my search. I have never been disappointed in an aloft stay. I appreciate the fact that even if you do not request maid service during a lengthy day, the maid still put a note under your door letting you know what their name is and they’re available if you need anything. A lot always top-tier.

The staff was friendly, but the first room they gave us was freezing! I turned the heat on and ran it for twenty minutes and it was still pretty cold, so I called the front desk. They sent maintenance and the gentleman said the heat was working but that it would take a while to warm up since it had been off. That was unacceptable, so I asked for and got a different room. The temperature in that room was fine. That night when we tried sleeping on the beds, we just could not. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable that we were all up by 3:00 am! By 6:15, we were ready to checkout even though we had reserved the room for two nights. There was just absolutely no way we could get any sleep on those beds! I will not be returning to this or any Aloft Hotel again!
