About this property

FISHERMANS CABIN UP ROCK CREEK 30 MINUTES FROM MISSOULA MONTANA

  • Rustic fishing cabin on Brewster Creek. One mile from nearest Rock Creek fishing access. Built in the early 1960's on a small stream 1/2 mile off the paved road up a secluded canyon.

There is kitchen with fridg, electric range , microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes pots and pans. There is NO wifi and NO air conditioning.

Bathroom with small tub and shower (lots off hot water).

Queen bed --- double bed---- fold out couch-- futon (sheets and blankets).

Large front yard, small deck and fire pit with views of cliffs and rocky slopes and good chance of wild life walking right buy. There is a weber barbeque (need briquets).

    * not a great place for small children, there are other nice and more modern cabins in the area you might want to check out.

Peaceful, stream side cabin. Just perfect for a night’s stay with my dog during our trip. Feels remote, but convenient to 1 90 and Missoula. I hope to stay again!

Great place and host

Michael contacted me early and often, had fire wood ready, and was more than happy to host our group of 8 fisherman. He was very accommodating all around. Cabin is exactly what i wanted for the last day of our montana and idaho trip. Big thanks to michael!

Magical property

We had such a lovely time in the cabin, every detail of it made us feel at home. We only had one night, but we already want to plan for a longer stay to come back and really enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the space. Also, the bedroom and bathroom are straight out of a fairytale, such a dream. Thank you again so much for having us!

Peaceful spot

This cabin is perfectly set in a bashful, quiet area. There is no service with cell phones which we appreciated for the few days we were there. It’s close to fishing spots and a beat bridge. The deck in the back of the home is so wonderful to sit at and watch the creek located behind the cabin. It’s definitely an experience we value having.

Rustic and charming - Exactly as advertised

Adorable little cabin that was exactly as advertised! It was spacious and clean with all the basic necessities to enjoy our stay! We enjoyed playing horseshoes, having a fire and listening to the creek while our kiddos rode their bikes - lots of useable outdoor space! Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to unplug and enjoy a relaxing stay! We will most definitely be back. 🙂

The cabin is located a few feet from the babbling Brewster Creek, which you can put your feet in to cool off. The John Long Mountains tower overhead at a dizzying 45 degree angle with rocky outcrops overlooking the property. Bighorn sheep grazed within 30 yards of the cabin. The cabin interior is eclectic and unique and very interesting. Mike was always ready to answer questions and was ALWAYS helpful. We loved staying at Fisherman’s Creek. It will provide memories and stories for many years. The nearby Swinging Bridge area along Rock Creek is definitely with a visit. In fact, don’t miss it!

Great Rustic Cabin!

We had a great time during our stay. Loved the backdoor deck and Mike was very responsive. Excellent stay if you are looking for a reasonably priced place on Rock Creek and ok with a rustic cabin.

Very nice..

It is exactly what it says it is, a great fishing cabin, and a bit more. More spacious than the photos indicate, the creek in the back is a bonus. We loved it and plan to return...
