Activities:
If the town centre is inland, its two small ports have made Clohars-Carnoët famous. Le Pouldu, located at the mouth of the Laïta, is surrounded by magnificent sandy beaches. At the other end of the town is the port of Doëlan, which can easily be explored on foot. For hiking enthusiasts there is the famous GR 34, but the inland also offers many possibilities. The forest of Carnoët and the abbey of Saint-Maurice will seduce lovers of wooded nature. The diversity of the landscapes around Clohars is not the only wealth of the region. In summer, you can enjoy many cultural offers such as the activities offered by Les sorties de bain, every Sunday at Le Pouldu. A newcomer to the festival landscape, the Rias are deployed in the Quimperlé region at the end of August. Street theatre is in the spotlight and all performances are free! Lorient being 20 kilometers away, the Interceltic Festival finally resonates throughout the region with the sound of bombards and other bagpipes.
