Malangane cottage was originally a fiserman's cottage. The lodge is situated in Ponte Malangane in Southern Mozambique, just 45 minutes from the South African Cozy Bay border.
5 bedrooms, 3 of which have king & singles pushed together to make king beds, and 1 which has 4 single beds, there is a lounge, kitchen, scullery, an upstairs storage area and another bedroom for the children large outside deck with a pool and stunning views.
Our cottage is a well kept secret.
The space
WE ENDEAVOUR TO ENSURE THAT ALL OUR PROPERTIES ARE FULLY CLEANED AND STERELIZED BEFORE CLIENTS ARRIVE AND AFTER THEY LEAVE.
WE DO NOT PERMIT DOGS ON THE PREMESIS!
No more than 10 people are allowed . Our bathroom facilities only accommodate 10 people. There are actually 5 rooms and 3 bathrooms but we do not like to overcrowd.
Views are beautiful and it is quiet because we are the last cottage so we do have an indigenous forest of Milkwood trees on the one side of us. The gate service will document the people coming into the cottage and grounds of Mar Azul and will inform us.

Regarding getting to Mar Azul from the Cozy Bay border- Take the “middle “track towards Ponta Malangane and work on the cottage co ordinates.
Referance points are [i] Airfield/ windsock +- 3-4 km from border and a school +- 4-5 km from the cottage .Sunset bar +- 1km north is the cottage Mar AZUL cottage no 9

PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS IN OUR COTTAGE.
Guests will be charged pro-rata if they overcrowd in our cottage. PLEASE WE ASK YOU DO NOT OVERCROWD. ONLY 10 PEOPLE ALLOWED INCLUDING BABIES. The amount of people arriving will be checked in at entrance boom and recorded.
Leia the cleaning service lady will show guests where everything is if they arrive during her working hours. The electricity meter is situated at the back of the cottage in case of emergencies.
Guests are also asked to tip the cleaning service if they are happy with her services. Only one cleaner is needed per day and will be available to you. Kindly let her go when she is finished cleaning. The cleaning service does not work on Christmas, New Years day or public holidays. Kindly be aware of this.
Leia is at your service to clean the cottage but not do your washing of clothing. Kindly take your washing home to wash or if you want you can use the machine yourselves please do.
Please do not ask the cleaners to get wifi for you. You will find wifi in the Malangane village.
