Motel room was clean, bed was great, TV?. Check in area would raise questions in your mind because it did not look as if it had been cleaned in awhile. Receptionist was quite pleasant and efficient. A coffee pot with real coffee would be nice and having Kleenex in the room and a stopper for the bathtub. There is no breakfast but MacDonalds, Tim Hortins and Wendy's are within easy walking distance and the Best Western has eating facilities for an evening meal, at a reasonable price, and it is about a kilometer away.

Exactly what you expect

I booked a place super last minute as I didn't know I needed to be in Cobourg for business. Front desk staff was very friendly, and bed was surprisingly comfortable. If all you need is a bed to sleep in, this worked well. Room was stark (bare walls) but mostly clean. Old model TV, but decent cable. Wifi not worth mentioning. Shower pressure was terrible, but I blame water saving showerheads for that. In general they are a bad idea.

Quiet and clean

Needs better pillows and a few more. Close to McDonalds and Tim Hortons for breakfast. New management wants to please and in time this will be a great motel.

functional rooms for the night

this is an old motor hotel on the main road from the highway --good location but older building --electric baseboard heat took a long time to warm the room--decent value and a nice manager/owner --worth the money but only a two star at present

close to the Arena and clean

It was good only stayed one night. Had a early hockey game and we could sleep in. We won the Silver Stick so it was great Weekend.

If you understand the expression "you get what you pay for" and are okay will low cost motels, you'll be just fine. This motel is clean with comfortable beds and is equipped with all the basics.
