Great place to stay. Very clean. Everyone was very nice. Look forward to staying there again sometime. Our grandson had such a fun time at the fishing pond.
We are incredibly happy with our stay, the accommodations were fantastic, the view from the porch is worth it alone.
Ty so much, you made our trip so memorable
Wonderful cabin for our one night stopover. Great location for peace and quiet, plus amazing star gazing. Had the best steaks at Cassie’s in town. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy some horseback riding and the rodeo. Hope to come back again! Thank you for your prompt and clear communication on all aspects of our stay. Best regards!
The view was marvelous. The place was small but nice. Lots of thought went into decor to fit area and get us in western mood. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. No lock on bathroom door and with 4 people we had to be a little careful. Be aware no cooking-just coffee. Nice staff. The helped with a last minute family addition with a nice spot to camp in and an outside guest bathroom. Staff gave lots of ideas about restaurants close by.

"NO COOKING"
When we arrived the place was beautiful outside. When we walked in place look clean. Then I saw it, a sign that said "Absolutely "no" cooking " Now I understood that it would be limited but NO cooking. There is no place to eat locally if you wanted a bagged lunch You had to order it the day before and pay $9 for it. That sign and the miss infor really made the stay negative. you could not even heat something up as there wasn't any dishes. we were in a motel room not a VRBO. I am glad that my Granddaughter was not with us as she has severe allergies and we cook ALL her food. that is one reason we use VRBOs. The next morning when I went to make coffee in the very small pot it was dirty. Then to drink out of a paper cup. I am VERY sorry to write this but, I think it is important. as I said if we would have had my granddaughter with us we would have had to leave.
We had a wonderful time. Great cabin. Beautiful scenery. Wonderful hostess. Tasty breakfast.

Great stay!
We spent one night in the cabin. It was very nice, clean and comfortable with an awesome Wyoming view. We will be going back one day to stay longer. Thanks for the great hospitality!
This cabin was perfect! It had everything we wanted and was in a beautiful part right outside of Yellowstone and Cody.
Could not have been more happy or comfortable. Can't thank the property enough for keeping us comfy and for the beautiful week we spent.
This property and the staff are gems. Cabin we stayed in had beautiful touches with a true feeling of the West. Property was a delight for my 3 year old grandson—from the creek to the pond to petting the animals. You will love your stay here in Wapiti and at this pristine ranch.
Super seamless arrival and departure. Our cabin was cozy and peaceful. My wife and I were able relax and the kids had endless activities to keep them entertained, including natural surroundings, fishing, hanging with the horses, llamas, and friendly ranch dogs. 100% would recommend and would revisit.
My only regret is that I wish we had longer to stay!
It is a beautiful drive from Yellowstone to this ranch. The ranch was filled with activities and other fun guests with kiddos. The owners and staff were all extremely nice. We were running behind from our drive, so our stay wasn't as long as I had wished. Next time we will stay longer and really partake in all the fun activities. This is a great place to stay and is very convenient to Cody or Yellowstone!
Beautiful area! We enjoyed Cody! This is a place to get away from it all. The room was clean, but no tv, sparse internet connection, no air conditioning, very minimal kitchen necessities. We enjoyed seeing Wyoming and having a light breakfast brought to the door every morning was nice.
We really enjoyed our stay at the property. We were a little concerned when we booked it that it might be a little to "rustic". After staying there though we feel that it is much more then we expected. The cabin was nice and very clean, the staff was great to work with and very friendly. The views are incredible. They have a fishing pond and they offer horse trial rides which we definitely want to do when we go back. We were given a small breakfast each morning that was better then most hotels and they even made us a lunch to take into Yellowstone. We will be going back again.
We stayed at Rand Creek Ranch three nights as a part of a larger family vacation to the Yellowstone area. We loved every single second there. The cabin was clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Kristal and Joel were so kind to us, and were always working to enhance our experience. We adored their family dogs, especially Lena, who was super affectionate with my kids. Their horses are well trained for the trail, and their wranglers were very professional and fun to be around. There was always a bucket of breakfast food on the porch in the morning and a campfire at night. The property was so beautiful, and situated between Cody and Yellowstone. Our only regret was not staying more of our trip there!
Cabin was nice BUT no cooking and coffee pot too small. Limited paper cups for coffee. No paper towels. Grills outside were not functioning properly and items were filthy. Large refrigerator without ice cube trays. Only one shampoo and liquid soap for bathing. Rooms with poor lighting. It is basically a hotel room. At hotels they would give you more soap and coffee items for number of adults scheduled to be there.

Cozy Mountain Cabin with Amazing Views
This gem of a cabin is part of a bigger ranch called Rand Creek Ranch. From the information on VRBO we thought it was by itself. However that did not stifle our experience one bit. We drove through Yellowstone on our way here. The mountains on either side are breathtaking and fun to see different shapes and sizes. A swift flowing river snaked along the highway adding to beauty. At the ranch there are a half a dozen cabins set next to a cute pond that you can fish, kayak or use the paddle boat. They also have two roping stands set up for kids to enjoy. Next to the pond are the horse stables. The owners offer trail rides for a fee if you desire. The log cabin we stayed in was a quaint two bedroom with nice furnishings and just the right amount of room. There is a fridge big enough for four days of food, a microwave, and limited plates and bowls. There are no utensils available. The cabin housed a coffee maker with complimentary coffee. If you want to make dinner bring something to grill. They have a large propane grill that is free to use near the pond and several tables to enjoy your evening meal. There is no cooking in the cabin however so bring salad or microwaveable sides. Nightly the owners have a campfire where everyone can gather or you can sit on the porch of your cabin and enjoy the AMAZING view. We brought our dogs and they loved it too! A nice touch was the breakfast they set on our porch every morning.
My only word of advice is that if you are planning to visit Yellowstone be prepared to drive. It is 30 miles and takes 40 minutes to just get to the gate. Once entering the east gate it could take anywhere from one to two hours once inside the park to get to the most popular attractions. Most of this is due to road construction in the park or a bison trying to cross the road!
