"The staff was very helpful with our late arrival. However, the room was very disappointing. There were stains on the blankets, blue liquid dripping out of the fridge, and the window shook the whole night. There were lots of noises from the building outside of our room. We were only in the room for about 9 hours so I tried to ignore those issues. When we went to continental breakfast, I noticed there were paper plates to be used rather than real plates and utensils. The staff there was also super friendly. But the food was very disappointing. I will not be returning. "

"Very well placed hotel for the theatre district in Buffalo as well as a few train stops down from where the Sabers play hockey. Great hotel and an awesome price!!"

"Amazing, friendly, charming, helpful staff, they let us talk their ear off at the bar and were deeply knowledgable about the mansion's history and Buffalo's scene. Was there in a pinch to offer us extra water bottles or silverware, the small things you forget about when staying at a hotel. Great breakfast options. Immaculate interior, and I really appreciated the local fine art that adorned the walls. So many places do the boring, predictable touristy local maps and travel posters and call it art, this was a step above, as this storied mansion deserved. "

"Everything was clean, rooms, kitchen, beds etc. The listing was not clear that it is a guest house which was a surprise to us. There are 3 floors, the guests (us) have access to the first 2 floors while the owner is on the third floor. My wife was a bit uncomfortable with this setup. I do think it should be clearly mentioned in the title or description. "

"The staff at this hotel are tremendously, friendly and helpful. We loved how they kept the granite façade of the old Genesee bank as part of their remodel. Some aspects of the hotel show their age, and signage could be more clear for things like the workout room, but overall lovely. The restaurant was great as well, and although my fingerling potatoes were a little bit too salty, otherwise the food was excellent. We will be back if we need to visit that part of Buffalo again."

"The apartment is in a great location. Its spacious inside and really well decorated. There was plenty of street parking. It was a great place and was much cheaper than hotel rooms were going to be. If we come back to Buffalo this summer we will try to stay here again!"

"Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The pastries were stale. There was little variety, and to choose from elevators are too dark and need to be brightened up. I can hardly read the number buttons because it is so dark in the elevators. Also, it would help to get rid of the fake plants in the rooms"

"What a wonderful experience. Our family travelled for a weekend stay. The check-in was smooth and the hosts provided a wonderful map highlighting great Buffalo places to check out. We had a question during our stay and it was answered quickly. The home is not only beautiful but pristine, and the neighborhood had some great dining spots within easy walking distance. All in all, a fantastic stay!"
