Five minutes from home, beautiful English countryside
Coleshill Parkway railway station, Warwickshire The original station here was opened in 1842 by the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway, and closed in 1968. Throughout its life it was known by various combinations of Coleshill and Forge Mills. It was rebuilt and reopened on the same site in 2007, this time known as Coleshill Parkway. View west towards Water Orton and Birmingham.

Blackgreaves Farm This farmhouse is on a bend on this back lane. At the time I took the photo there was a constant background noise of a barrage of shotgun fire - whether at clays or importune gamebirds I don't know !
