Even if you never wanted to try French snails (escargot), it’s worth expanding your horizons here. The snails were tender and small, and covered in a rich sauce. I was surprised they were served sans-shell, but it made them easy to enjoy.
An icon of French cuisine, lunch or dinner at this three-star Michelin restaurant will set standards you didn’t know could exist.  Plan to spend three hours enjoying your “two or three course” meal, which actually ends up being eight or ten plates, including pre-appetizers, palette cleansers, cheese course, dessert, petit fours, etc.
