Perfect stay at the Alma. All staff were helpful and nothing was to much trouble. All friendly and personable. Rooms were very spacious with excellent views over the moors. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Could not fault a single thing ! 10/10 recommend to anybody staying in the area. I was just there for work but went for an evening stroll and found there’s a lot to explore in the area too ! Very scenic

Stunning views to Pendle Hill from our room, friendly staff and an excellent dinner and breakfast. This was a much-needed short getaway and, with a great day’s walking today during which we hardly saw soul, was everything we’d hoped for. We will return.

Lovely stay

Lovely stay at the Alma Inn. Room, food, atmosphere were great and the staff lovely. Particular praise for the young man serving us drink on the Saturday evening. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service.

Quiet stay with great food

Loved this hotel. I was looking for a quiet hotel with good quality home cooked food, and that is what I got. Soup was outstanding!! Very friendly staff and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and recommend

My wife and I had dinner both evenings of our stay. On the 2nd evening my choice of 7oz fillet steak was unavailable so I opted for 10oz rib eye. Unfortunately the quality of the steak was poor - chewsome to the extreme! Very disappointing. We have been staying at the Alma for over 40 years and the steak on previous occasions has always been excellent.

Hotel/Pub=Happiness

Great Pub/Hotel nestled out in the country not far from Colne. Nice stay suppin' a few pints before retiring to bed. Friendly staff, nice breakfast in the morning...enjoyable stay...can't go wrong booking here!

Lovely pub on the outskirts of Colne and Laneshawbridge with easy access for the Dales and the moors around Skipton. Clean and comfortable accommodation, and tasty food. Definitely worth a visit.
