Pleasantly surprised

Very good hotel that's not far from tram transport, so you can go to places easily and quickly. The room was clean, tidy and very cozy. Everything was well organized and the staff was very friendly :)

Very pleased with my stay! The price was such a steal. You may not get all of the fancy amenities of a 4 or 5 star hotel, but it has everything you could need and felt safe and clean! A bonus was that the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Spoke very good english. Also offered a welcome shot upon arrival for Carnival!

Cheap, cheerful, caring!

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but for the price it’s perfect! I sat downstairs in the evening and the staff were friendly, then my room was so comfy. For one person it’s a single bed, but I’m 6 foot 1 and it was comfortable for me! Had a great nights sleep! And the shower is really powerful which is great! Thanks for having me!

Very straightforward and basic. Carpet and bed were very clean. The shower could use some more cleaning. Lots of restaurant options within a walking distance. The hotel is located next to the train line and it gets very noisy at night, especially if the window is open for desired ventilation (there is no AC in the rooms).

Room was clean and well prepared. A bit of confusion when checking in, I had paid in advance and apparently that didn't show on their system, but they resolved it without issue. A bit far from the city center, have to walk a fair distance to get to the closest tram/bus stops.

Not my best choice.

I was very unlucky to have had drunk men talking loudly all night under my window while smoking cigarettes. I put in earplugs but it wasn’t enough. Since there was no AC, I had to keep the window open so did not sleep. It’s not the hotels fault but the guests where disrespectful. It is also located 16 minutes away from public transportation. On the positive side, there is a nice park located close by. Thankfully I had only one night booked so could change hotels. I guess it’s probably better on a weekday when people don’t drink as much or convenient if you have a car as they have parking.

Although I did not see that the hotel was full, Manager assigned my room directly over the entrance where smokers were stationed until late in the night. The smell of chain smoking surrounded the lobby and elevator areas. Several silverfish darted around the bathroom. I do not blame the staff. It seems they are doing what they can. It seems the hotel management may be used to certain things . However the value was very good. If you are looking to find a place to sleep for the night I still recommend.

Hotel is 50 minutes away from Cologne station and city centre if you don't mind walking then this hotel could be for you. Breakfast is expensive would recommend going elsewhere or buying groceries if you want to save more money.
