This is a wonderful place to stay in Colorado Springs. It was a much needed stop on our way to Rocky Mountains National Park. Definitely recommend it.

Adorable home, walking distance to Old Colorado City

Perfect for our family

Wonderful Stay

The house was very quaint and perfect for my daughter and I. It was a perfect location for exploring Pikes Peak, Old Colorado City, and Colorado Springs. Christina was great to communicate with and made sure our stay was relaxing!

Great Stay

Loved staying here. Close to town, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs! Enjoyed relaxing in the backyard. Our two kids enjoyed it as well and it had everything we needed for an easy stay! Thanks Christina for great communication and allowing us to check-in early! Would definitely recommend!

Great Staycation in OCC

We really loved this house. Super clean, in great condition, very well stocked. The location is excellent, a quick walk to downtown with lots of options. We would absolutely stay here again. Christina was a great host.

Nice neighborhood. Restaurants are close. Loved that there were plugs and power strips for all our devices. Crowning jewel was a wonderful grassy back yard for our dog.

Perfect place

We had a great stay! Host thought of everything. So many more little extras you don’t see in most rentals. We brought our dog and the yard was perfect for him since it was totally fenced. Short walk to OCC Brewing Co and short drive to Garden of the Gods. We walked there every morning. This was the best place we’ve stayed yet in our Colorado adventures!

Wonderful long weekend getaway

This house is cuter than the photos, it has character and I loved it! The backyard was a great place to relax and unwind after whatever adventure we may have been on. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, plus extra. There really are deer in the neighborhood, we came back one night and there they were right across the street! The location is absolutely perfect for anything in the Pikes Peak area. Communication with Christina was easy and clear, making check in and out a simple process. I hope if I'm back in town, it is available again!

Great Location

House was perfect for everything we wanted to do in Colorado Springs. It’s close to walk into old town and grab great bbq,shop, and drink great beer. Dog friendly and easy to walk to a park and just stroll around a great neighborhood. Lots of wildlife around the area and was startled more then once with a big deer on front of the house. We saw black bear when we took the train up to Pikes Peak, Deer everywhere, saw a Rocky Mountain big horn sheep at Garden if the Gods. Great home don’t hesitate to book it!!!

Totally comfortable

No detail has been overlooked here. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The entire house is comfortable & well lighted- a welcoming space. We stayed 4 nights during March. We appreciated the warm furnace, cozy furniture & the umbrellas. The neighbors were quiet. We were able to walk easily around Old Colorado City from this location. The host was friendly & helpful.

Fantastic!

This house is in a great location! Walkable to old Colorado City, a short drive to many different amazing hikes, and a nice quiet neighborhood a couple of blocks away from a park. Perfect little backyard for lounging in the afternoon with a drink and our dog or enjoying the cool crisp air in the morning with our coffee. Owner was super responsive and easy to communicate with. House is truly fully stocked. Can’t recommend it enough, we will definitely be back!

Great Home Base for Colorado Springs

The home was as advertised. Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and in a great location. We had a party of 4 so it worked well with the two bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and the ability to regulate the temperature in the home [to combat some of the mid-day heat] was really nice. Sometimes rentals will hard code the thermostat :) The kitchen was perfect and had living room had just enough room for us to enjoy a late evening. The neighborhood was quiet and we got to meet the neighbors who were very nice. If I had to suggest any improvements it would be update the carpeting, ceiling fans and add more incandescent lighting in the kitchen and living room. These items are definitely not problematic but would be the cherry on the top of a great vacation rental!!

Perfect Location

I absolutely loved the location. It was quick and easy to get to Manitou, Garden of the Gods and Colorado Springs. I felt safe in the home, neighborhood and everywhere I visited. I was a lone female traveler so I want other lone females to know it is a great area. The house was very clean and had everything I needed within reach. You can tell the owners care about this property. I have been in VRBO homes where the deeper cleanings are skipped and it shows. This house had clean baseboards, blinds, doors, cabinet fronts etc. I very much appreciated that kind of cleanliness and love for the property. Communication, check in and check out were all very easy. And I was in disbelief when a couple of beautiful deer came prancing down the sidewalk right in front of me while getting out of the car at the house. So drive carefully and slowly, especially at dusk and dawn. I look forward to returning to the area and would absolutely rent this home again.

Great backyard and location

First, I'll say I wish all BNB places were this good. Christina let me know days in advance how to get in. It's really annoying to get that day of, not at computer, don't want to install app, etc. She was very responsive.. awesome, thanks! House is great, location is great, backyard is super. Couple small things that could be improved: Deadbolt does not engage. It's a solid 1/8" low. Easy to fix, not rocket science.. please fix it. Has additional bar as a lock (like in hotels) so not a big deal when you're in the house. I could not find a cutting board for the life of me. Lots if knives, no board. LED lights are awful. This is everywhere, not specific to this place. You can get incandescent under 100w still. I'd do so for living room. Dining area is big overhead fluorescent, so not particularly cozy either. These are minor gripes. Also in living room, the fan and light are both on a dimmer. Pretty sure you're not supposed to dim a ceiling fan. Depending on how many wires you have, you can probably get a fan/light combo. They're out there (Lutron). I also loved the check out procedure: text Christina! How easy is that. Some places are like sweep the floors, start the laundry, take garbage to curb, on and on. I appreciate that. Would stay again. Definitely recommend.
