"I’ve stayed at the Double Tree many times over the years, and has always been amazing. This time was less so. The check-in staff was unfriendly and not very helpful. Getting any information out of them was like pulling teeth. When we got to our room, even though we had booked a room with a queen, it had a single full bed. The sheets on the bed were stained, which is always off-putting. When I went to use the shower, the ceiling in the stall was filthy and looked like someone had wiped their boogers on it. After an incredibly uncomfortable night on a broken-down mattress, I got up in the morning to make some coffee and found someone’s used grounds in the pot. All-in-all, this was not the standard I expected from this hotel after so many great stays. I’ve had cleaner rooms and more pleasant staff at EconoLodges. I truly hope this was all a fluke."

"The hotel was nice, but it was hard to get to from where TriMet let us off. The room was clean and comfortable but the exterior doors looked like someone had tried to whitewash them with thin paint, making them look like they were under renovation. Staff were excellent."
