The property and accomodations were very nice. Location was a little out of the way but that actually made it a nicer stay. Becky was very responsive to any communications and a great host. And Cain is a very lovable gentle giant of a dog.
Owners were very nice and easy to communicate with. Check in and check out process was very smooth. We have family near the area and will definitely return to this listing.
Lovely home in beautiful, quiet country setting. Comfortable beds and cozy accommodations. Caine, their dog, was friendly and super sweet as our greeter when we arrived. A short 18 minute drive to mizzou campus and even shorter drive to downtown Columbia as well as Columbia mall. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Great alternative to a pricey hotel room to enjoy our college football game weekend. Maybe 10-15 minute drive to stadium as well as downtown restaurants. Quiet, tucked away in the woods. Clean, cozy and great communication with host.
I drove in from out of state for Dad’s weekend at Mizzou and stayed with another dad. The property was exactly as advertised! Pix, too. Very clean with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is a bit remote which can be positive (very peaceful, wooded setting) but if you are going back and forth to campus, it is a bit of a (winding) drive for you or Uber. I would definitely stay here again as my experience was exceptionally positive.
A very nice stay. Cain is a very pleasant and attentive "doorman" and makes our arrival feel special. Wonderful mattress on the main bed in the bedroom. Will definitely look to stay here during future football seasons.
Awesome property and truly not far from the heart of Mizzou Campus. The owners are super responsive and were very nice people. Chris (owner) took me and my daughter to see the goats and they didn’t disappoint! Their big ole fluffy dog Cain, was as sweet as could be!! Very friendly pup and loves pets and belly rubs. The living space was so clean and very very nice. Super comfortable stay and will absolutely stay here again the next time we are in town!
Wonderful place. The owners were nice and easy going. We didn't interact much because we wanted to explore the city but hope we can come back sometime. Great family getaway
We had a great time and would stay again. Plenty of space and I appreciated Becky's communication and willingness to work with us on a couple of things. Feeding the goats was a highlight and Cain their dog was very gentle and welcoming. Super clean and comfortable too!

Loved It
A little scary coming in late at night but super comfy and clean and in the morning you are surrounded by gorgeous woods and greeted by the sweetest 2 dogs and a kitty. About 10-15 minutes from campus, very easy to get to and find.

Nice little country place
Came in on short notice late one evening.. left early.. it was a nice place. Everything was clean and adequate. The owner was very quick to respond and made sure i got in and had instructions etc. I would stay again if I were back this way again.
Nice quiet alternative to area hotels. Very close to interstate and cluster of restaurants, shops, etc. Simple, clean, met expectations and matched what was presented in posting. Wet bar area perfect for preparing simple meals - not a full kitchen but not advertised as such so it was what we were expecting. Excellent and friendly communication from the owner.

This was a great find!
Becky's house was very clean and closer to Mizzou's campus than I expected! I regret not being able to meet her. The way our schedule fell allowed us not to find an appropriate time to catch up! I will definitely stay there again!
We enjoyed the peacefulness and quiet of this home. It is a very short drive to get to Hwy 70, so convenient to everything in Columbia, a short drive to Rocheport (Katy Trail access) and Warm Springs Ranch (Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales Breeding Farm). Very clean, super nice (and quiet) owners who live in the upstairs of the house. Cain, their dog, is very sweet and affectionate, as are the two cats. They have a small goat herd as well. We brought food from home pre-made so all we needed was the microwave. There is a hot plate and pots and pans if needed, an electric griddle, etc. The fridge is fairly small so bring a cooler, but the freezer is large enough to hold a small bag of ice. Very easy checking in and out. Had a lovely stay.
Our family had such a wonderful stay here. We were a little leery staying in the owners basement but it was completely private. We had a separate locked entry and couldn’t hear the homeowners upstairs at all. They had everything we needed I did forget to restock my shampoo and shower soap which is always in my travel bag. The beds were very firm which was good for my back. We were greeted by their beautiful dog each day. He is so sweet and friendly and never tried to come inside. We enjoyed him so much. They have goats and chickens that are a short walk across their property. We were able to feed the goats sweet potatoes which was so fun. We would definitely stay here again. What a great experience for our football weekend

Charming & Peaceful
Our stay was very comfortable and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much. The wooded landscape was very peaceful and was a nice change of scenery from our every day busy lifestyle. At first the rental seemed to be a little out of the way, but really it was not ..it only took 10-12 mins to get to the University. The accommodations were great, there was enough room to sleep 5 people (possibly 6 if you bring a blow up mattress) also had some DVD movies for your enjoyment . The rental was clean and had all the kitchen utensils you might need. It had plenty of towels . The only thing that I would have liked to have seen is perhaps a bigger refrigerator in the rental unit but other that that It was great. A special thanks to Becky for letting us use her cooler (for drinks) her kindness was greatly appreciated (as we did not have to go buy one) . P.S The owners 1 dog and 1 cat where very friendly and really no bother at all. In closing I would definitely stay there again should I ever have to got to Mizzou again. My daughter graduated this year so not sure if I will be traveling back anytime soon, but I know my daughter will probably be there for class re-unions and Football games and I know she loved it as well (she might be there before me). Again Thank you for the wonderful accommodations.
