If you venture down into the older part of town, there are some amazing restaurants I would stay away from the restaurants right around the hotel. "

"Spacious dining area and also a kitchen. Good breakfast as well. There's a place to wash and hang your laundry. But the room was a bit cold and we had to ask the front desk for heating several times. Heating is controlled by the front desk, and it is turned on for an hour or so only. Since it was still cold at night, wish they left it turned on during the night."

Vila do Conde is a good place to stay, beautiful beaches, all shops etc and easy to get to from airport and for day trips into Porto. I would really recommend this as a place to stay and enjoy Portugal. "
