"The room was very nice. The pool and whirlpool were not operating. We were not aware of this before we came. It could ruin a family vacation if kids wanted to swim. There were no chairs on the deck. The soda vending machine was also not working. The outside had brooms laying around and the landscaping was sparse."

"Beautiful view of the lake… but we didn’t get to open our windows because the smoking tables were outside our window with people smoking and enjoying the view. That was the biggest downfall. Having that view and having smokers blocking the view. Only 2 rooms had smoking tables outside them. And of course ours was one of them unfortunately"

"My stay at Emilys cabin simply amazing! Side lake is a special place, and Emily did a fantastic job keeping the original decor around the cabin which holds so much history for my family. Emily is very responsive and a super kind host and i cant wait to come back and continue making new memories here in the future. :)"
