A Quaint Rustic Bungalow Overlooking The Fishing Village of Corea Harbor

  • Rustic meets modern convenience in this rustic 100+ year old, one bedroom, oceanfront bungalow. It overlooks picturesque Corea Harbor, in Corea Maine, a small fishing village located in Gouldsboro. You can watch local lobsterman leave the harbor, haul their traps and sell their catch at the end of their day.

    There is a screened in front porch that leads into a small kitchen, a small bathroom and a small living area. Upstairs has a queen bed and a full size bed.

    Bridges Bungalow includes a Full sized refrigerator, a gas cook stove with oven, a microwave, a coffee pot, linens, towels, dishes, utensils, wi-fi, a smart tv with netflix, an outdoor propane grill and a fire pit for evening fires.

    You can buy fresh, local lobster 1/2 mile away at Corea Lobster Co-Op or you can enjoy Lunch on the Wharf at Corea Wharf Gallery and Grill also 1/2 mile away. Some other local dining options are ‘The Pickled Wrinkle’ in Birch Harbor and ‘Salt Box’ located in Winter Harbor.

    It is only about 10 minutes from Winter Harbor where you can enjoy the Schoodic Point section of Acadia National Park or take the Ferry for a day trip to Bar Harbor.

    Local activities include hiking, biking, fishing, boating and kayaking. There is also a golf course in Winter Harbor and Sorrento.

    This place is a cozy, rustic little retreat where you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and enjoy the life of a little fishing village in Corea.

Lovely experience! My family of 4 loved it. What a cute, clean, thoughtfully decorated little house with a gorgeous view. I especially appreciated the fully functional kitchen!

Great location, overlooking the Corea Harbor. House was super clean and well laid out with a nice porch and outdoor space. Highly recommended for visitors to Corea.

Lovely little cottage with a wonderful view overlooking the harbor. The cottage itself was full of lovely little touches throughout that made it feel like home, while also being immaculately clean. The perfect getaway!

What a lovely, comfortable bungalow! It has everything you might need plus extras. Easy to live there for a few days - just bring yourself and food! The beds are fantastically comfortable - coupled with the sounds of the ocean and the boat bells - I miss it already! You’ll feel at home here, the cottage and the area have a magical charm.

We were looking for a quiet getaway for the dogs to escape the craziness of the 4th of July fireworks. This place was perfect. My sister and myself plus our 2 dogs. We walked over to Lunch on the Wharf and went on a Catch your dinner lobster tour. Everything was perfect.

Cute little fisherman cottage was everything we needed for this trip and more. Pet friendly, which really sealed the deal for us. Can’t beat this view either. Screened in porch was the best.

My husband and I loved this little cottage, especially the screened in porch overlooking the harbor. It was an excellent place to relax. A plus is that it is pet friendly and we were able to bring our small dog. He loved it too!The host, Pam, was really helpful and answered all our questions especially where to eat and what to do in the area. She was very responsive to messages and very nice. The cottage was super cute and the place was very clean, the bedding and towels smelled really fresh (that made a big difference!) and the beds were really comfy.I highly recommend this property and we hope to stay again.

Tastefully decorated in nautical/ coastal theme. Every gadget and gizmo you might need in the tiny kitchen is there. Well stocked bath and kitchen towels. Extra blankets, extra pillows. There is no detail overlooked. Do keep in mind that it is correctly described as rustic.The host is responsive, flexible, friendly and awesome overall.The surroundings is old time Quiet Maine lobstering village with hard working locals and it is all so magical. As you pull into the driveway the view will grab you and it won’t let go, even after you’re long out of sight.

The Bridges Bungalow is magic. The owners have done an incredible job transforming a tiny space into something that feels both cozy and special, perfectly capturing the charm and character of a Maine fishing village.The soundtrack of Corea is unforgettable—birds calling in the distance, boats gently rocking with their bells softly clanging, and the ocean breeze drifting through the windows. It was peaceful in a way that's hard to describe.I also loved reading the guest book, which shares the family's story and their connection to the lobster fishing industry. It added such a personal touch and made me feel more connected to this beautiful place.If you're looking for a quiet coastal escape that feels authentic, relaxing, and full of heart, the Bridges Bungalow is truly a gem.

The hidden gem

Quiet cozy amazing views, cottage was clean comfortable, and looking forward to staying there again, lots to do around the area if you like hiking site seeing, great local restaurants absolutely 5 stars if you like quiet time this for sure is your spot.

Great Waterfront Spot

We loved our stay in this cozy waterside bungalow. Pam was communicative and kind, and the place was as clean and well prepared. Highly recommended staying at this spot!

Great place! Loved being in a quaint village.Dogs loved walks in the neighborhood and seeing the wildlife. Seeing the lobstermen coming and going was fascinating to watch.

Great little place to stay 12/10 recommend. Highly recommend the ferry to Bar Harbor made getting to Acadia much simpler. Perfect little fishing village to overlook at the end of the day.
