Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Scenery is stunning and pool was fabulous. Provision of outdoor furniture was very good. Great to have air conditioning however only one working controller to service two bedrooms on different floors was not ideal. Decent sized fridge but otherwise very poorly equipped kitchen with lack of glasses and utensils. No basic condiments or welcome pack provided. We arrived on a late flight and there wasn’t so much as bottled drinking water provided.
The advertised dishwasher did not exist (I think the listing has now been updated following our complaint ) - the response we received upon raising our complaint was that it “has been removed recently” - however we found old photos which were very unclear as to where one would have been previously. No running hot water in kitchen, response received on raising this initially was that there was hot water available in the bathroom and a basin available there. This made washing up after meals inconvenient. The towels were threadbare and despite raising this on arrival when they were changed out during our stay further ones provided also had holes. Whilst great to have pool towels also provided, one was covered in what looked to be cat hair. I ended up washing these myself. Listing also did not include 180e local tax which was demanded in cash, and the only time we met the local rep during our stay. For full transparency, given the false advertising we did request, and eventually receive, compensation via Expedia.
