A very comfortable property with amazing views and an away from everything feel. We loved it.

Great experience. This place gave you a wonderful feeling of being away but close enough to anything you may beed. Nick was very unbelievably helpful and quick to respond.

Magique!

Absolument parfait! La maison est super bien équipée avec tout le confort qu'on peut attendre, Nick notre hôte était attentif sans être intrusif, et quelle vue! Depuis la terrasse ou la piscine, la vue est à couper le souffle! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Lovely Villa

A lovely modern villa with fabulous views - the host was extremely friendly and was next door and always available if needed. 15 minutes drive from the main road. Convenient for Kassiopi and Kalimi where the Durrell villa is located.

Lovely secluded villa

Nikos was really helpful and communication was great. Villa is very much in the hills so is great if you want a quiet time, roads not the easiest if not a confident driver. The bbq area and pool are fantastic with awesome views of Albania.

Ruhige Lage, etwas abenteuerliche Anreise

Sehr schönes und modernes Haus. Pool mit super Aussicht, harmonische Einrichtung. Es gibt zwei Wege zum Haus, der „ältere“ ist nur mit einem SUV zu empfehlen.

This Location is for all people they love silence and privacy. 4 km in the hill's above Kassiopi is this very nice and clean house with all what You Need. The owner Venetia is very nice and helpful. We had two perfect week's to recharge the batteries. Thank You very much Venetia !

Erholsame Urlaubstage

Die Villa Venetia befindet sich im Nordosten von Korfu. Die Anfahrt mit dem eigenen Fahrzeug erfolgt hinauf über schmale und kurvenreiche Straßen. Die Ankunft wird mit einem großartigen Blick, sowohl von der Trasse, als auch aus dem gepflegten Pool über das Meer nach Albanien belohnt. Die Ausstattung hat es uns an nichts fehlen lassen. Es war ein Platz zum Entspannen und ein Ausgangspunkt für erlebnisreiche Ausflüge über die ganze Insel.

Corfu 2021

Sehr schönes Haus mit toller Aussicht in wunderschöner naturbelassener Umgebung. Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Hausbesitzer, der bei Anfragen sofort unterstützt. Einzige Minuspunkte: etwas beschwerliche Anfahrt (am Schlussstück nicht befestigte Straße, ca. 20 Minuten bis zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit oder Taverne) und leider zu unserer Reisezeit (Ende August) sehr viele Wespen beim Haus (Essen im Freien nicht möglich). Alles in allem aber wirklich ein Platz für einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub.

Dream location

A charming house that delights from the very entrance. It allows you to feel the holiday atmosphere. Peace and quiet. This is the key that is not missing here. Each day can be welcomed in the swimming pool at sunrise. Very nice helpful landlord who is always in touch when needed. There are a lot of charming cats here. Thank you for our unforgettable vacation.

Stunning Location

If you are looking for the perfect tranquil ‘get away from it all’ experience, this Villa is for you. It has one of the best views in Corfu. We loved the ever changing shape & colours of the landscape throughout the day & watching a pair of European mountain eagles soar on the thermals. We found the Villa well equipped with everything we needed & Nikos was on hand if we had any questions. We were pro off road drivers after a few days. Kassiopi is literally at the bottom of the track as is the mini market to pick up supplies. We really enjoyed exploring some beautiful bays & hidden beaches from this spot.

A great place, once you get there.

This property is modern, comfortable and well equipped. From the private sunny terrace at the back there is an outstanding panoramic view across the sea to the mountains. The surrounding forested countryside is largely uninhabited. There is no traffic noise at all. The owner was very welcoming and anxious to ensure that our stay was trouble-free. However, the long road up to the villa is not straightforward. There are many bends on the ascent. The final kilometre to the villa is along an unmade track, which is badly rutted in places and also affected by potholes.

A Great house and a fantastic view in a calm environment

A great house with all you need and a fantastic view ! If you are looking for a great place to stay in a calm and quiet environment, this is the place to go! The villa is located up the hill, surrounded by only 2 other houses: Venetia's house and the oncle's house. We really appreciated the quiet and calm situation at any time of the day and night. It took us approx. 15-20 min to drive down to great beaches, restaurants or small supermarkets for food shopping. The house has everything we needed; we even had the surprise to have a dishwasher be installed during our stay! Venetia is very kind, great to get insider tips on places to visit. She constantly checked after the pool and flowers, changed our towels every 2 days and even changed the beds and cleaned up the house after 4 days. We really appreciated the pool, the view and the house. We had a great stay in Corfu. Thanks a lot!

View from atop the mountain

We had a wonderful week up at the property. The pool area is gorgeous and the views are breathtaking. The a/c was very much appreciated, as our visit coincided with a heatwave. The drive down to the beautiful town of Kassiopi felt a little daunting the first couple of trips, but we came to enjoy it in our little Fiat 300. The first trip up, we took a wrong turn late at night and found ourselves with 2 flats on a mountain road. It was a beautiful and comical walk up the last few kilometers in the middle of a thunderstorm. The next morning I simply messaged Nikos and he went into action. In no time, we had the tires off and down at a friend’s business where he slapped some lightly used tires back on, while Nikos and I grabbed a coffee. I highly recommend this property as much as I recommend staying on the main road!

sehr gepflegt mit Service und schöner Aussicht

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, das Haus ist ausgeschildert, so dass man es gut finden kann. Es ist auf 450m Höhe im bergigen Norden. Aber sogar unser Nissan Micra hat zumindest die eine Straße Richtung Kerkyra (sehr gut ausgebaut) problemlos geschafft. Die andere Straße Richtung Kassiopi ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber auch diese sind wir mehrmals hoch und runter gefahren. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet, man hat u.a. scharfe Messer, einen Gasgrill, verschiedenste Möglichkeiten Kaffee zu zu bereiten und kann das Essen und Verweilen auf der wunderschönen Terasse mit Blick nach Albanien einfach genießen. Venetia ist jeden zweiten Tag gekommen, hat die Betten gemacht und den Müll weg gebracht und sogar innerhalb unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts uns einmal die Handtücher ausgetauscht. Man kann einige Wandertouren direkt vom Haus aus starten.

Eagles nest location and a great base to explore.

My wife and I have just had a wonderful week here in Villa Venetia. Perched right above the villages of Santa and Porto overlooking Albania and Greece, it was the perfect spot to explore the island and walk the hills and woodlands that surround the property. We had abundant birdlife in the garden and in the deserted villages nearby, now slowly being re-inhabited, are very atmospheric to wander through. Below are all the top seaside hotspots from Kassiopi at one end of our road round to Agni at the bottom of the other end, dotted between with beautiful beaches and bays with crystal clear water and waterside tavernas. Whilst it takes a couple of hours to get to the southern end of Corfu, we made it all around the whole island in a day with a decent walk and a long lunch to boot, revisiting some of our favourites on later days. It was our first time in Corfu and we were very impressed with how pretty it is and not too scarred by developments, but we did have the advantage of off peak pre summer mayhem. The owner Venetia was charming informative and very helpful and the house was immaculate with everything you need, inc WiFi, BBQ etc A perfect stay. Thanks,

Imagine sitting on the veranda with your coffee and breakfast looking at the pictured views and listening to the birdies sing or sitting in the evening with a bottle of wine and watching the most incredible sunsets you've ever seen in your life! Me and my man work six days a week 10 to 14 hours per day..We needed peace, quiet and rest like nobody's business. WE Got It!! The main town is only 6 kilometers away and the most fantastic beach (clear blue and turquoise crystal waters) was only 5 kilometers away. People were so warm and friendly Everywhere!!! I can't say enough good thing about the owners, Venetia was amazing from the get go. She gave us a heads up on renting a car, which is important, and we wanted for nothing, the villa has everything you need, all we did was go grocery shopping and we were all set. When we finally recovered from our stressful lives we hit up the entire island! Great tavernas are close by! Corfu is a beautiful, magnificent island. We're going back for sure and you can bet Villa Venetia is the place we'll be staying at!

Comfortable villa in a beautiful coastal mountain landscape

A wonderful house almost at the end of the world, amid forests and mountains, at 15 minutes drive from enchanting bays and cliffs. The views from the veranda over the Albanian coastline are spectacular and particularly in the evening when you can watch the sunset as you are having supper outside. (there is a very efficient and well-designed gas barbecue). Below the house there is a big garden and beyond that the mountainside. :There is everything you could reasonably need in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom and the level of hosting is five-star. The owner, Mrs Venetia, manages everything in the nicest possible way: she has an attentive and warm manner, so that you feel really looked after. She gives very useful information about beaches, shopping, transport, boathire- everything you could want to know for a holiday in Corfu. The place is very quiet with only the sounds of the countryside, goats bleating, bees buzzing and the occasional dog barking. It is not completely isolated though, which is always better in the country, as next door live Mrs, Venetia's cousin and family, who were very neighbourly and helpful too. All in all the perfect place for a couple or small family who are looking for peace and quiet off the beaten track.in an authentic Greek rural setting.
