"The hotel is clean, bed sheets towels. The shower felt like it was going to fall thru the floor. You can hear upper floor people walking and creaking noises. It was creaking alot. Again clean room but not really updated.. the pool area was decent. Heated pool too. If you just want a decent stay. Then it's fine."

"Loved it!! It was so perfectly located for everything we had planned! The restaurants across the street were convenient, the claim jumper attached to the hotel was delicious for a late night meal! It was walking distance to the USS midway museum, the maritime museum, the Coronado ferry port, little Italy, and a big park by the bay. It was so convenient to get up and walk to breakfast and just enjoy the area!"

"The rooms are clean, little bungalows. Not really a great beach for kids to play on, but a nice quiet area. A lot of the amenities were not open, food options on the island were not bad, but a little pricey. A nice place to stay for a night or two, but I would choose another option to better meet my needs with two children. Was in a good location to explore areas around the resort or if you are going to sea world or the zoo. I would probably look somewhere on cornado for my next visit due to dining and activity options in proximity."

"Awesome resort!! Just a beautiful venue! Every room is modern and most of them have incredible views. The resort is family oriented but not too kid oriented, I say that with best intentions because kids will have a good time. Great for crowds under 21 and over 35. Two restaurants with three bars. The margarita bar is great, and the brewery bar has a great selection. You can order drinks pool side as well, and there’s another bar right by it. $10/night parking is across the street, otherwise you’ll be paying significantly more for on-site or valet. Drop off and pay a tip a bell hop nicely instead. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. I don’t remember if I’ve stayed at a hotel where the staff was this happy, it really adds to the environment. The location is a little out of the way being by the airport but the drive is not bad to either downtown or La Jolla. The good thing about the location being away from downtown is that it does make the Sheraton feel a bit more exclusive. Plus if you get a room that faces the city, the skyline and Coronado bridge at night is quite a treat. I think I’ll be staying there again soon and would recommend to friends in the area that it’s an ideal spot for a stay-cation."

"first I bought 2 suites for my daughter's graduation. then on arrival they separated us to two different sides of hotel. one room with balcony faced all the air conditioning on top of joining building. disgusting view with loud units. The furniture has stains and wear. the sliding bath door was hanging at end not properly closing. It had water damage at edge. water pressure in one room would only go hot. The pool being at a Hardrock was only 4 ft deep and small. ( they throw pool parties there) Very little arrival parking area. The tile is delaminating from concrete throughout the hotel. loose tiles. I felt ripped off for money we spent on 2 rooms. As for the area. can't go a block with crazy amount of homeless which some harassed my daughter and boyfriend. stunk like pee everywhere . San Diego is letting down its tourists and residents big-time. so much I won't go back. dirty city. the next LA"
